Chapter 8

When Su Jin arrived at home, her head felt like it was being hit repeatedly with a bat. All she wanted was a hot shower and to crawl into bed. However, the sight of Hobi scurrying around frantic had her worried. He was pulling out the luggage from the closet and Su Jin felt like her lungs were about to collapse.

"A-Are you leaving!?" She managed to ask.

Hoseok turned and gave her a sad expression. "I don't know what to do. I don't want to leave you. But I can't stay if you're having an affair."

Su Jin rubbed her temples in frustration. She let out a heavy sigh and glared back at her husband. "Do you think so little of me!? I would never cheat. I never have. I won't. I love you, Hobi. I've even told my boss I'll be resigning. I don't want to work with him or at that company if it means losing you, okay?"

Hoseok rocked back and forth on his feet, not making eye contact. "How do I know you're telling the truth?"

"You don't. But I'll do whatever I have to, to prove that i'm not lying and that I love you. So please, don't leave." She whined.

Hoseok let out an exasperated sigh. He shook his head and reached for Su Jins hands. "I didn't want you to quit... it's just... I don't trust that guy and I'm sorry I was so harsh."

"Too late. I have no desire to be there. Especially after what I witnessed today." She shuddered at the memory of her best friend getting frisky with Ji Yong on the desk. Hobi raised an eyebrow, waiting for her to explain further. "I don't know what happened but... Yun Hee was... on the desk.... With Ji Yong... oh god it was gross."

Hoseoks eyes shot wide open and he immediately whipped out his phone.

Hoseok: Did something happen!?

Taehyung: How did you know?? Did Yun Hee tell you guys something!? I can't get ahold of her and I really need to explain.

Hoseok: Explain WHAT!? You better start explaining before I have an aneurysm.

Taehyung: Ugh. Soon Kyu made trouble. She found out Yun Hee was coming to the office and somehow made it seem like I got her pregnant. Yun Hee just left! I haven't heard from her since and I'm freaking out.

Hoseok: YOU IDIOT! This is Su Jin by the way. You just now decided to freak out!?

Hoseok: She's right you know! Why didn't you immediately clear things up?

Taehyung: I was too shocked to do anything.

Hoseok: We'll try to get ahold of her and get this straightened out... uhh if we can...

"Well that explains a lot! Why can't we have normal friends that don't live the lives of a soap opera?" Su Jin groaned and slunk over to her bed. Collapsing onto the comforter.

"Let's just find her first. I don't need you stressed out even more by their drama."

The pair tried to call their friend several times. They enlisted all the others to help try and locate her. It was an hour later that Jimin called with news that made Su Jin start to panic. Her closet was cleaned out, as was Yoo Na's. She left a note saying she had to get away and that she hoped Taehyung and Soon Kyu would have a happier relationship. She said she was sorry for leaving, but not to look for her.

Jimin and the others ran around the entire night looking for her, but it was like she disappeared into thin air. No one was able to figure out where she went. Her cell service had been disconnected and everything. How could she just up and leave!? I mean sure, I left but I wasn't married and with a child.
