*Time skip! Seven(ish) years later*

Su Jin was standing in the kitchen, chopping vegetables and putting them into small containers for Hyun Ki and Hye Su's lunch. The boy emerged from the hallway, eyes half open as he was still tired. He moved slowly to stand at the counter, leaning against it for support as he watched his mother make his lunch.

"Mom, can't I just eat school lunch?" he groaned, looking at the assortment of healthy foods in front of his mother. She was neatly organizing his lunch box.

Su Jin scoffed, shaking her head at the boy who was now taller than her. She didn't break her concentration as she spoke. "School lunch doesn't have healthy enough choices for you!"

Hyun Ki huffed and brought his hand up to rub his tired eyes. "Isn't it a little lame to take a lunch my mom made me to high school?"

Su Jin just rolled her eyes and closed up the lunch box, thrusting it towards her son. "It's not lame. I love my son and wanted to do something nice for him. Please don't complain."

Hyun Ki shrugged and went to sit at the table. He laid his head on the table and not a moment later Hoseok came hurrying down the hallway, Hye Su following close behind him. They were giggling about something as they sat at the table. Hoseok eyed his sleepy son and grinned. "First day of school! I wonder if you'll meet your future wife in school like I did." He poked Hyun Ki on the cheek and snickered when the boy made a disgusted sound.

"I already know all the girls and they're all weird or in love with my friends. No thanks." He grumbled.

"Not suprised no one is in love with a cry baby like you!" Hye Su laughed, earning a nasty glare from both of her parents.

"He isn't a cry baby Hye Su. Apologize to your brother."

"It's fine. Not like she'll ever get a boyfriend." Hyun Ki shot back. He wasn't great at fighting with his sister because she was right, he was really sensitive. He got his feelings hurt easily and took everything to heart. Hye Su was more capable of letting things slide off her shoulders and not pay any mind.

She just grinned and raised an eyebrow at her older brother. "Oh really?"

"Enough! No more fighting. Both of you need to eat breakfast and get ready for school." Su Jin snapped at her two children. The siblings argued more than she liked. Granted, she knew it came with the territory of having two teenagers in the house.

Hoseok kept his mouth shut and started in on his own meal. He enjoyed teasing his kids but didn't like upsetting his wife by doing so. She was easily irritated when it came to the kids fighting whereas Hoseok just shrugged it off. He didn't enjoy them fighting but he knew it was natural. He tried to help keep the peace when it was necessary though.

The family quickly finished their breakfast and said goodbye as they all went their separate ways. Hyun Ki and Hye Su headed to the high school. Hoseok was on his way to work and Su Jin had to go over to Hyo Rin's to help keep her put together for Jae Woo's first day of school. Hyo Rin had been crying all week about how she wasn't ready for Jae Woo to be going to school again, even though he'd already been the previous year. She was really emotional about it and Su Jin had to be the glue to hold her together while Jae Woo went off to class.
