His eyes had changed into a darker shade that enchanted Lara into wild thoughts. He laid on top of her in ragged breaths and even eyes mirroring her own wild thoughts.

Grabbing her face he pulled her face towards his and crashed his lips onto hers and they molded against each other with raw passion. She wrapped her hands around his neck tugging him close. His weight pushed her deeper into the bed. His hands gently ran up and down her body caressing her like she was his most valued muse. He deepened the kiss fuelling the desire pooling between her legs. After some time she broke the kiss to catch her breath.

"Mine" he growled out into her neck then breathed in and out to calm himself down.

"Hi am Dark" He spoke huskily after gaining control of his features.
When he saw the skeptic look on Lara's face he rolled his eyes. "Seriously my name is Dark, Redric has a crappy sense of humour, he thought it would be nice to name me dark, because according to him we are darkness."

Shit this was really happening, get your shit together Lara and make a conversation. "I am Ava." she lied nervously.

He smiled, "I know mate."
"Sorry my human has behaved really shitty with you, rest assured we are on different understanding of what you mean to us."

well at least one of them likes me.

"So Dark, Redric mentioned you wanted to speak to me?" She questioned apprehensively.

"Way to ruin the moment Lara." Karma growled angrily.

He sighed, pulled her off the bed placing her on his lap. "I know who you really are my queen, what I don't know is why you are here and the reason you're pretending to be someone you are not."

"W.....what are you talking about?" She stuttered.

He growled, "your face just paled and your heart pace picked up.
"Don't lie to me" He snapped.

"Fuck me" She muttered lowly biting her swollen lips. She was so screwed right now.

"Be careful with your words my queen whether you mean them or not they have consequences." Lara froze, wondering if he had heard her.

Of course he had heard her

She schooled her features so as to not give anything away, "I really don't know what you are talking about."

"Really you don't?," He snarled, "I am the Apex wolf my Queen do you really think I wouldn't recognise another alpha, especially one as powerful as you are?"

She gulped nervously, she wasn't that certain on who was worse Redric or his smug conniving wolf.

"Tell karma I said hi." He spoke smugly. Lara gasped at him in shock. How the hell did he know about karma?. "Karma" she growled, "you better have not told him anything."

"No I haven't" Her wolf gritted, sounding offended by the accusation.

After a few minutes of waiting for her to respond he shook his head and spoke, "You think Redric is insane you haven't seen anything yet, I thought if I was nice you would be honest with me but I guess I have to use other means to loosen your tongue."

"We are going to play a little game called kill the messenger. In the next five minutes three boys ranging from the age of three to five will walk into this room, they will take turns in conveying my questions to you, lie and I rip an organ of theirs, your choice princess the truth or their blood on your hands." He whispered into her ear.

Initially Lara had thought he was bluffing but just like he said three boys walked into the room, so young and gullible their child-like eyes shining in adoration and excitement at the chance to serve their alpha. If only they knew the plans he had for them. She wanted to warn them so bad but couldn't seem to form words let alone sentences.

"You called Alpha" the eldest spoke in confidence. It was silent for a while as the young boy and Dark stared at each other, probably mind linking.

"The Alpha asks why you are lying." The boy questioned, gazing at her accusingly.

"I...." She stuttered.

"He says you have sixty seconds to respond." The boy added.

Lara was pissed it wasn't fair It's not like she was willingly keeping things  from him. "I am not lying," she yelled frustratedly. She should have known better than to give the sort of response she did. Calmly he lifted her off his lap and placed her on the bed then slowly he got up, stretched his arm then growled, "Remember you had a choice."

Before she could even utter a word he grabbed the boy's arm and pulled it with so much inhuman force that it was ripped apart from his shoulder. Lara sat there frozen her blood had ran cold. All her eyes could see was the boy's blood splattered all over the floor, some coating Dark's face. She could hear screams and whimpering but they did nothing to jolt her out of her shocked state.

"Now are you ready to be honest or do I actually have to kill someone?" He growled.

"I'll talk" Lara sobbed.

He approached her, crouched, caressed her cheek with his still bloodied hand and smiled "Am glad to see we are finally on the same page."
