Redric

"Do you now?," she demanded narrowing her eyes at me.

"I should have told you about her knowing what you are like, but between these arseholes arrival and my beta's interruption earlier in my room there just wasn't time." I spoke calmly.

She crossed her arms glaring at me. "What am I like exactly?."

"Beautiful, possessive and too temperamental to deal with me and my shit" I said. She seemed surprised at my response, though it didn't deflate any of her anger I could still see my words had the intended calming effect.

I grabbed her face and turned her to face me.

"Let me go, I take it back am not done with her yet, you love her she says." She scoffed then aggressively pulled my hands out of her face.

"You need to calm the FUCK down you can't shift right now, they will know about your wolf." I whisper growled, genuinely worried about England and Jensen trying to claim her if they found out who she was right now.

"Lara please calm down" I whispered again, my arms circling her waist, crushing her body into mine.

She thrashed and kicked, but I still held her firmly that was until I felt my hold on her loosen as she ripped herself out of my grasp and began to stalk Scar again. The look in her eyes telling me she had every intention of ripping her apart.

I grabbed her arm and pulled her back to me again, my efforts to pull her back had no effect on her whatsoever as she continued walking towards Scar, snarling.

"Love don't do this, she's not worth it, am not worth it." I spoke hoarsely and ran my thumb over her cheek, using my other hand I ran fingers through the hair at the nape of her neck, trying once again to calm her down.

"Don't touch me right now Redric, when I am done with her I want a list of all the she wolves you have slept with then I am going to rip all of them apart" she quietly growled. "Now let go of me I have a bitch to kill" she spoke trying to pull away from me.

Fuck it. I tightened my hold on her and kissed her. She went rigid when my lips met hers but after awhile she and her wolf began to respond. I grabbed her ass and pushed her up to make easier eye contact then bit her lip and slipped my tongue into her willing mouth enjoying the taste of her as she pulled me closer. I had to admit I was enjoying myself.

Her lips left mine, then traced the line along my neck where her mark would lie if she ever marked me. I took that as my opportunity and mouthed run to Scar.

She understood and with the little strength she had left, got up and ran.

When I decided Lara was calm enough I carefully pushed her off me. The moment she realised she wasn't in my arms anymore the anger she felt before came back tenfold, "you tricked me" she accused.

"You better pray I never see her again Redric," she snarled before pulling my face towards hers then kissed me passionately.

"Calm enough?" I questioned.

"Yes" she replied huskily.

"You know I don't love her the way you think I do, but we are close consider me and her former friends with benefits." I decided to finally clarify.

"Good I don't take kindly to people claiming my mate as their own." She hissed.

England and Jensen gasped in shock.

"You're his mate," Jensen asked condescendingly.

Lara growled "speak to me in that tone again I dare you."

"Calm down beautiful, fresh start remember," I chucked at her obvious disdain for Jensen.

She sighed, "fine I'll behave."

"I'd like to formally introduce you to the three shitheads here with us, That is alpha England Rhodes," I pointed to a still gaping England, "and the one in combat boots is my beta Jasper Gale." I pointed to a scowling Jasper. what the fuck was his problem.
last but not least is the manwhore Alpha Jensen Steel.

She smiled, "Excuse my earlier outburst, it's so nice to meet you, I am..."

"Ava." I interrupted her.

She gave me a questioning look but nonetheless nodded.
