The Dark Alpha's Salvation

Chapter 22**

"What's wrong this time?" Lara questioned. Redric in return didn't answer her. Just scoffed then growled viciously.

She raised her hands in surrender, fighting the urge to wince "jeez am your mate remember no need to get all murderous."

Lara moved closer to him and cupped his face in her hands "Red?" She called out clearly getting worried when all he kept doing was growling and staring into space.

She heard him growl some more, then he suddenly stopped only to scowl at her when she attempted to touch him again.

"Jasper!" Redric barked making both Lara and Jasper flinch at his tone. Then he pulled her hands out of his face and pushed her into Jasper's chest "Get her out of here now." He growled.

"Yes Alpha" Jasper nodded, clutching Lara's arm.

"Go with him, don't be difficult" he commanded impatiently when he saw she wasn't moving. Lara stood her ground and watched in horror as he began to shake from head to toe. The atmosphere around them suddenly shifting into a dark one and she instantly knew something was wrong.

"Come with me" Jasper spoke gruffly, while roughly pulling her along with him towards the exit of the arena.

She stared at Redric one last time and was just in time to see that his eyes were now jet black, almost pitch contrary to the usual scarlet red they shifted into whenever he was undergoing a shift. He looked feral, like a psychopath ready to go on a killing rampage. His whole being was shaking with suppressed raw power and rage. The muscles on his face clenched into long strained chords. It was then that Lara truly came face to face with Redric the psychopath.

"GET HER THE FUCK OUT OF HERE NOW!" He roared, "GET EVERYONE THE FUCK OUT OF HERE."

No one waited to be told twice, except Lara, Jasper his beta who was temporary frozen on his spot and the so called shadow alphas who had all surrounded Redric to form a barrier around him, the rest that of the people had disappeared as soon as he had finished airing out his command.
Jasper snapped out of his daze and resumed back pulling Lara along when he saw Redric glaring at him in particular.

Despite all the pulling and dragging Jasper was doing Lara stood frozen in spot watching as Redric went on a rampage, punching and tearing into anything in his path, growling and shouting profanities she could barely comprehend. She was literally shaking when he ended up flinging one shadow alpha who was a few steps ahead of her so hard he went flying across the arena and smashed into the arena's brick wall, completely embedding himself into it.

Lara gasped "Redric!" 

But Redric was oblivious to her voice, all around him laid shredded bodies of those who dared to defy his command.

"GET OUT OF MY FUCKING HEAD" Redric shouted, shaking his head from side to side, pulling his hair, then ran straight into a wall and banged his head across it a couple of times. Blood dripped from his face, covering his eyes, some drenching his clothes but Redric did not seem to care.

He kept punching and clawing. The wall was no exception it cracked every time he assaulted it with his iron fist or steel head, Lara could do nothing but watch, terrified, if anything Redric seemed to be enjoying the pain from the sadistic grin plastered on his face. Then all of a sudden he stopped even though he looked anything but calm, he kept taking angry breaths, snarling, his fists clenched, his entire body trembling in anger.

The shock, Lara felt however turned into fear when he all of a sudden collapsed to the ground and began converging. Blood pouring out of his nose, ears and eyes. Between his blooded clothes and his current bleeding, he looked like a walking blood bank. She had no idea what she was doing, before she knew it she was slowly walking towards him. Then when she was finally before him she fell on her knees, lifted his head and placed it on her lap, even in his unconscious state he kept growling menacingly.

Cuts appeared on his chest and arms out of nowhere, while his body kept jerking different directions, spasmodically as if some invisible force was striking him. "What's happening to him?" Lara weeped, eyes searching all around her for any explanation from the people surrounding them.

"The moon goddess happened" England growled, "she is doing this to him somehow."

"I believe he's doing far worse to her" Braille added when he saw fresh blood dripping out of Redric's claws.
