Chapter 3 - The trip to Duke with Damon, Alaric and Elena.

Ally's POV;

I rolled over in my bed and felt the darkness upon my eyelids burst into light and urge me to open my eyes. When I opened them I saw Damon pulling the curtains across and allowing the sunlight inside my room.

I asked sleepily "What are you doing here?" Damon turned to me and said with a smirk "After you fell asleep last night I brought you here, and stayed to make sure Katherine didn't turn up." I smiled and mumbled "Thanks." Damon winked and teased "It was no problem at all."

I rolled my eyes and swung my legs out of bed and placed my feet on the carpet, attempting to get up. I asked "What's the plan for today then?" Damon slumped down beside me and explained "On the agenda for today is, you, Elena, Alaric and I go to Duke and go through Isobel's research to find out more about Katherine, and what supernatural entity the Lockwood's could be. Sound fun?"

I smirked and muttered with fake enthusiasm "So fun." Damon grinned and said "You need to get up and dressed, Miss Wright." I sighed and mumbled "Fine, fine." As I got up and walked over to my wardrobe, picking out an outfit for today.

When I had settled for my black skinny jeans, coldplay shirt, leather jacket and converse I walked into the bathroom and started to get changed. I shut the door and locked it behind me, knowing how creepy Damon could be sometimes.

Once I was dressed I brushed through my long brown hair and put on a smile before walking out of my bathroom and into my bedroom. I grabbed my bag and packed it with my phone and keys to look up and see Damon lying on my bed with a smirk on his face.

He teased "Care to join me? Your bed is soo comfortable." I rolled my eyes and muttered "Maybe later, Damon." His eyes widened as he asked "Really?" I walked to the door and mumbled "Nope." I burst into giggles as I walked to the steps.

As I went to walk down them I heard Damon growl "That's it."

I gasped and felt my legs fly from underneath me and my body pulled to Damon's chest. He zoomed down the steps carrying me bridal style with a huge grin on his face. I whispered between panicked breaths "You're such a jerk." He chuckled and muttered "You loved it."

He placed my feet back on the ground and walked out of the front door as he called "Come on, let's get this show on the road, Miss Wright." I scowled as he walked away from me and to his car. I shut the front door and walked over to Damon's car as I got into the front seat next to him.

I exhaled slowly and asked "What are you waiting for Salvatore?" He smirked and muttered "Elena's coming too you know." I looked over my shoulder and out the back window when she finally walked out of her front door and down towards the car.

When she got into the backseat I greeted with a smile "Hey." Elena smiled and asked "Hey, how are you feeling?" I nodded and answered "I feel great, thanks. You?" She nodded and muttered "I'm good." She glared at the back of Damon's head and stared out the window as I frowned in confusion and turned back round in my seat to face the front.

Damon teased "Good morning Damon, nice to see you. Oh great to see you too Elena thanks for asking." I rolled my eyes at Damon and Elena snapped "You don't deserve to be spoken to." I frowned in confusion and asked "What's he done now?" Damon chuckled and started the car as he pulled out into the middle of the road and headed towards the boarding house.

Elena folded her arms and muttered "He threatened Jeremy last night." I turned to Damon with anger and slapped his shoulder, I asked "What the hell, Damon? Why?" Damon shrugged and answered "He threatened to expose me and I merely gave him a little warning, that's all." Elena snapped "You threatened to end him."
