~Ally's POV;~
I opened my eyes and let out a gasp, I was alive.
I shot upwards into the sitting position and looked at the two strangers, confused to who they were and why there was a coffin in the room. I gulped and shuffled backwards away from them as I asked "What the hell? What's going on?"
The man grabbed my arms and lifted me to my feet, staring intensely into my eyes. I knew that he was trying to compel me, so I went along with it. The man ordered "You will not remember the dream you had, it didn't happen, you'll wake up again oblivious to how you have survived. You think it's a miracle." I nodded and whispered emotionlessly "It's a miracle." The man nodded and brushed his hands over my eyes as he whispered "Sleep." I felt my legs automatically give way and send me to the floor as I immediatley drifted to sleep.
~x~
When I woke again, I gasped and stared straight ahead at the dark sky, noticing I wasn't in the strange room anymore. I shot upwards into a sitting position, remembering everything the man said.
Why did I need to forget?
I snapped out of my thoughts and stared around frantically, finding myself outside of the ruins of Old Fells Church. How was this all possible? How was I alive? I frowned and got myself up from the floor. I died. I looked at my shoulder, covered by my shirt and gulped nervously. I tugged quickly at the fabric, revealing where my wolf bite originally was.
I gasped with amazement, it was gone.
I rubbed at my eyes, unable to believe I was really seeing this. Was this something to do with the weird out of body experience I had moments ago? If I was alive, that meant the dream I had was real. This mysterious man had saved me with his blood? Who was he? Why did he save me? The wolf bite was really gone, it was hard to believe, I felt no pain anymore. I was back to normal, I was ok. I ran my fingers over my healed skin and sobbed with happiness. I was alive.
I looked around and folded my arms across my chest, trying to keep warm when wearing just a tank top, skinny jeans and boots. A voice then asked "What are you doing out here?" I spun around and found Elijah standing there, watching me with concern.
I remembered that he had no idea I had even got bitten by a werewolf, let alone died. I lied "I took a walk." Elijah walked over and said "You shouldn't be out this late, lets get you home." I looked at the concern in his eyes and asked "Could you take me to the Boarding House instead? I was there before I came out here."
Elijah nodded and said "You must be freezing-" He took of his coat and held it out to me as he mumbled with a grin "Here." I smirked and took it from his hands as I said "Thanks." I wore it over my shoulders to keep my arms warm as I walked along the forest on the way to the Boarding House.
It was a peaceful walk, it felt nice. I looked around at the trees, feeling the night air brush my cheeks. I closed my eyes and smiled as I walked, appreiciating the chance to live again. I had no idea how I survived, the man in my dream was mysterious, the whole concept of my out of body experience dream was messed up.
I refused to think about that anymore, I was alive. And just walking through the forest was the greatest feeling. I was free of that pain from the wolfbite, and I couldn't feel luckier.
I opened my eyes and followed Elijah out from the forest and down the road, I continued to think about everything. Thinking about my death made me flinch, it was terrible. When I was dying, the pain was not physical anymore, it was emotional pain. I hated the thought of leaving everyone, I hated it so much. When I was drifting away, minutes from death in my dream that Damon had controlled for me, I was happy, I was happy to have died in Damon's arms. In my opinion it was the best place.
