It's a long story and the rules are to many to tell in one sitting, but this is gonna be good. You grin, knowing fully well that no one can see you, but for the dramatic effects.

The cold winter clung on to the windows, making icy patterns all over. Your hair swayed from the back of your shoulders as you lurked inside of the castle. You kept to the shadows, not making any noise, and a constant eye behind you. Its been a while since you lost Draco. You hadnt seen him since the dormatories, or heard him for that matter. You had heared the vent creaking from time to time, but that could be anything. You were almost by the stairs. Pressed up against the stone walls, the pictures around you just looked at you wheirdly, and returned to whatever they were doing, they barely noticed you. The stairs roared above you. The game was thrilling, and your adrenaline pumped trough your body. You had thrown both your shoes, and were walking around on your socks. You had taken of your first shoe, and placed it in the library, and the second, you had tied to the railing, down to the dungeons. You stopped and pushed yourself against the wall. «I've gotta step up my game.» You thought. «And I've gotta get my wand» .Couldnt he find you by using your wand? Your wand was drawn to you, like an invissible force, an energy, drawing it to you.

The entire castle was warm, cozy, eventhough the windows were open. «Man I fucking love magic» You thought, while continuing your mission. You were going to win this game, no way in hell were you loosing to Draco fucking Malfoy. Not a fucking chance. You had reached the stairs. You just looked up and heard them rubling. «Imagine walking up all those stairs» the thought sent a shiver trough you. You continued walkind, you had no freaking clue where you were going, but you had to find a good hidingplace, thats for sure. You stepped on to the first set of stairs, and walked up soundlessly. Your fingers delicatly rested over the cold slick railing. The paintings around you looked at you.
-He's far away hun.
You turned around and looked at the painting. The canvas was big. The woman was in the late 30's, quite good looking actually. Her hair was brown, and her skin was helthy tanned. She was wearing clothes as if she was born somewhere between the 16 and 17 hundreds.
You stopped, and pushed yourself to the wall.
-How do you know? You couldnt believe you were talking to a painting.
-I can feel him in the castle darling. I feel him in the walls, and he is not close, not even a little bit. She sang out, as if this was completely normal for her.
You were just standing there gazing at her.
-Well go on honey, she said with a loud vocal voice.
-Spit it out. She sang the words out.
-U..hh. Thank you so much. Uhm, could you by any chance not tell him where I walked?
You tried with your kindest voice, while looking her in the eyes.

-Oh honey, I know guys like him. My lips are sealed. She chuckeled and lifter her finger in front of her mouth as a «keep quiet» sign.

-Thank you. You said breathy, and continued up the stairs.
The shadows were falling, as the night darkened, and the light started fading. The beautifull sunsett were slowly replaced with shadows, darkness, and paranoia. The other paintings all seemed occupied, and you snuck your way up. Suddenly the ground beneath you started vibrating, and you felt yourself moving trough the air, the stairway changed, and moved you to a set of stairs, leading the opposite way, of where you were headed.

-Damn.
You whispered, while keeping a low profile. You sat down in the stairs, and lookes between the bars, for any sign of movement, all you say was the empty hallways, the large stairs , and one of your red convers shoes on the ground, pointing to the dungeons.

-Y/N!
You heard a voice call your name in the distance, and you reacted by looking at the woman in the painting for confirmation on wether it was him or not. She just widened her eyes, nodded her head, and whent back to her knitting.
"Son of a bitch" you thought, and looked in to the epty hallway with a disapointed look.
His voice bounced of the walls. You listened for footsteps, but you could not hear anything. You thought he was probably in the library area... ish. You wasted no time, you sprinted up the stairs. Cold air streamed towards you, and you sprinted with the hope that he would not see you.
-You ready to give up now? His voice echoed trough the whole castle.
-Fuck. You whispered in rage. You kept running up the stairs, with your hear constantly turning, searching your surroundings.
Outside the light faded. The clouds rolled over the mountains, like black stencils, the dark green sky hovering above the dark contours. The trees were slowly turning in to a simple dark spot, the birds stopped chirping, and the land was a place for the night creatures.
-Y/N. He again yelled.
It caught you by a supprise and you accidentally tripped in a step, and the ground came closer and closer, them you smashed in to the cold stairs, face first.
—Motherf...
You started, but bit your lip and covered your mouth to shut yourself up. You felt your forhead throbbing, and small drops of blood fell down on the side of your eye. You breather out to keep yourself from screaning in both anger and pain.
-Great. You whispered and rested your head on the ground.
