The sound of footsteps coming in next to Luca made me open the door a crack wider, only to reveal .

Jason.

I blinked, and blinked once more. Nope, they were still there.

“Stop blinking Viv, we’re not disappearing anytime soon,” Luca said, a smirk as wide as the ocean plastered across his face.

“But how- when did you-“ before I could continue, Jason stepped forward and kissed me on the cheek, shutting me up completely.

“By plane, and this morning,” Jason answered my half questions. There was a sparkle of mischief in his eyes and a smile on his lips.

“Viv, what’s taking you s-“ I turned to see Kate frozen to the spot, her mouth hanging open and her eyes as wide as they could be.

“Hey Kate,” Suddenly Luca had gone all shy, the smirk he had been sporting less than a minute ago was replaced with a small smile, making his dimples show. With one swift movement, Jason smacked his brother across the head.

“Hey Kate? You dragged me all the way here just to say hey Kate?” Jason scolded Luca, making Kate giggle.

“Wait, so why did you drag him here?” I asked Luca, the shock gradually wearing off, confusion taking its place. Suddenly both Luca and Jason looked uncomfortable, Luca way more than Jason.

“It may have been because of-“

“The picture I sent you yesterday!” Kate gasped suddenly, registration taking over her features.

Luca nodded, his smile widening. “You said you wished I were with you,” he reached out, holding both her hands then said, “and your wish is my command.”

“Awww,” I cooed as he pulled her hand up to his lips and kissed it tenderly. Kate’s cheeks were tinted pink, her eyes fixated on Luca’s.

“So how about we go for a little walk?” Luca asked Kate, who nodded enthusiastically, already halfway through to the door.

Once the door clicked shut behind them, I turned to face Jason, who was smirking at me. Just then I registered the fact that Jason was here.

In my bungalow.

In Bora freaking Bora.

“You don’t seem too happy to see me,” He said, cocking his head to the side. I willed my mouth to utter a smart comeback, but the nerves to my brained seemed to be tangled up, making me jump up and hug him tightly instead.

He chuckled lightly. “Never mind, then,” he said, hugging me back with just as much vigor.

“I can’t believe you’re here,” I whispered into his shoulder.

“Couldn’t wait for three whole days,” he whispered back.

“Viviana?” My mom’s shocked voice came from behind me.

Crap, I’ve forgotten about her!

“Mom!” I said a little too loud, quickly backing away from Jason.

“Mom?” Jason asked in a voice low enough for my ears only.

“Hey, aren’t you that boy who helped me carry my luggage? What on earth are you doing here?” She asked frantically, confusion marking her face.
