nina/benny
"c'mon claudia!" benny yelled from the front door. "we're gonna be late!"
a six-year-old claudia ran up to her father and out the door to her mother. the entire car trip she was singing about water and rambling about the fun they were going to have. finally, they reached their destination.
"water park!" claudia screeched.
"sunblock first," nina called out to her.
claudia groaned and walked back to her mother. after everyone was slathered in sunscreen they bought tickets and went in.
"papí let's go on the slides," claudia said giddily. she all but dragged benny over to the large set of water slides and they went on every one of them.
"wanna go in the lazy river with me girlie?" nina asked her daughter.
claudia smiled wide, "yes mommy let's go to the river!"
she ran off not knowing which way to go. nina laughed and caught up to her to show her. benny was already standing there with a raft. they all got situated and finished their day off floating down the lazy river.
