claudia and isabel

they were 10 years old now. best friends and practically sisters they hung out at each other's apartments all the time. they were bright children so the two were always working on some sort of puzzle.

"isa did you finish sorting the puzzle pieces? edges and middle pieces?" claudia called from the kitchen.

"yes dia i did! now bring me the chips!" isabel exclaimed.

claudia brought in a plate of organic chips and set them on the table. then, she helped isa continue the progress on their newest puzzle that her friend had gotten for her birthday. it had a picture of the original schuyler sisters in their 'work' stance.

isa sighed, "why didn't we just do this at my house? where we have real chips?"

"you know my mom only buys organic food."

"well tell aunt nina to step up her game!"

claudia laughed and kept placing pieces in their places strategically.
