Chapter 30: Off To A Good Start?

Nathan's P.O.V

I woke up and looked around. I realized we must have boarded the plane when ever I was asleep. I yawned and looked over to my parents. My mom was editing like my dad.

N-"Mom, when do we land?"

L-"Good to see you're awake. We land in about an hour. You slept for around 8 hours."

N-"That's a lot of hours."

My mom laughed, flashing a wide smile.

L-"Yes it is and I have a feeling you won't sleep any tonight."

I laughed and pulled out my iPad. I opened one of the many movies I had downloaded and plugged in my headphones. I placed my headphones in my ears then pressed the play button.

Kayden's P.O.V

I slid my laptop into my bag and closed my trey. We were about to land so we had to put away everything. Kaitlyn was asleep on Liam's shoulder as Liam was scrolling through his phone. I am pretty sure with Kaitlyn here, he isn't scared of flying.

Me on the other hand during the entire flight, had my laptop out editing a 'Q & A'. Then after editing that, I had to edit the vlog I filmed before getting on the plane. I am very slow when it comes to editing, so it kind of took a while.

The plane had landed and we were now at a complete stop. I stood up like Liam did and grabbed my bag. Liam picked up Kaitlyn the same way my dad was holding my little brother when he was asleep. Liam had his bag on his back so he couldn't carry Kaitlyn's. I took her bag and followed my parents out of the plane with Nathan in front of me. He kept holding his forehead for some reason, it was weird, but it could have just been him having a headache.

We made it to baggage claim and Kaitlyn was awake. She always wakes up at the perfect time. Liam sat her down before I handed over her backpack. Nathan sat down on a nearby bench and held his forehead again. I was going to mention something to my parents, but my mom gave me a look signaling she knew he had a headache.

The 6 of us each were rolling around our suitcases, except Kaitlyn had Nathan's along with hers', and were heading to a van that took us to our resort. My dad, Liam, and I all loaded up the suitcases in the back of the van then followed the other 3 into the vehicle.

It was about a 15 minute drive that was totally boring. My mom tipped the guy while we all got out our suitcases. We made it to our huge rooms after checking in at the front desk. As soon as we walk in Nathan immediately stops and holds his head.

N-"It hurts!"

We all rushed over to him as he had tears going down his cheeks and let out a heartbreaking scream.

L-"Nathan, what's wrong?"

My mom was panicking, which made my dad panic, which made Kaitlyn panic, which made me panic, which made Liam so concerned.

LM-"Nothing will get better if you all keep panicking!"

D-"Liam's right. We need to calm down and figure out what's wrong with Nathan."

Nathan's P.O.V

Pain. Pain is what I felt. As if someone is hitting you in the head repeatedly. Like a feeling you are stuck with forever and will never be able to get rid of. Like your skull is slowly cracking.

Tears were streaming down my cheeks as I held my head and my family was panicking. I wanted it to stop. So badly. My hands started shaking from the fear of the fact that something could really be wrong. I have been having these headaches for the past week every now and then, but I thought nothing of them since they weren't this bad. When I got sick on my siblings' birthday, it all started. I was throwing up, I had a headache, and I couldn't move.

Can you even imagine what it's like to have someone bang your head repeatedly against a pole? Just constantly. That's what it feels like. No one will understand it either. They can't feel the pain I am going through.

Kaitlyn's P.O.V

We were all calmly trying to talk to Nathan, when he collapsed onto the ground. Thankfully it wasn't a rough impact because he is small. My mom started crying as she held him and my dad called the paramedics. I was sobbing and backing away from it all until my back hit the wall. Kayden was next to Nathan with my mom and Liam.

Sobs escaped my mouth as soon as the paramedics showed up and took my little brother away. I cry as I see my parents crying. I cry as I see my brother crying.

I cry as I feel like a piece of me has been ripped out of me.

Watching my 9 year old brother being carried into an ambulance with your family crying, is heartbreaking.

Liza's P.O.V

It was becoming early morning here on our vacation as we waited in the hospital waiting room for news on Nathan. Kaitlyn was lied across Liam and Kayden's lap after crying herself to sleep. The boys were both asleep as well, but I think they were slowly waking up. David and I were the only ones awake. Watching the hallway, waiting for a doctor to walk out and tell us what is happening.

Flashbacks of when Kaitlyn was in here, were running wild in my head. Breaking my heart as they did.

A doctor walked out, taking me away from my thoughts as he announce Nathan's name.

(DY= Doctor Young)

DY-"Nathan Dobrik."

Immediately David and I jumped up. The twins and Liam woke up as well, making their way quickly over to the doctor.

L-"Is he okay?"

DY-"I was doing a few C.A.T scans and I found something."

It felt like my voice was gone and I couldn't speak. Thankfully, David stepped up.

D-"What is it?"

The doctor sighed then glanced at the ground then back us.

DY-"Nathan has a brain tumor."
