Chapter 36: That's My Brother

Kayden's P.O.V

Seeing Liam all beat up, was awful. I can't even imagine what has happened, but I have a feeling it has to do with his dad since he went home. I didn't want to mention anything since he is sensitive on the family subject.

I'm currently in my room, trying to find new clothes for Liam to wear because the clothes he is wearing are ruined from blood. I know he has his duffle bags of clothes in his car, but they needed washed.

I grabbed a pair of joggers exactly like mine and didn't grab a shirt because Kaitlyn told me not to. She is in the living room with Liam cleaning up his sides. Even though it's really difficult to see him like this, she offered to do it.

I ran back down the steps and into the living room. I saw Kaitlyn sitting on the ground next to Liam, who was lying on the couch. From the look of it, Liam was asleep.

It was probably best he was asleep so he can take his mind of his body.

I walked over to Kaitlyn who had tears on her face. Anytime Kaitlyn cries, I cry. It's this weird thing we do. Apart of being twins is you get the same feelings, think the same things, and you know when the other is upset.

Kaitlyn and I have only met another set of twins and they are the complete opposite. They don't think the same, only one of them didn't like us, and while one was upset, the other didn't feel anything.

I sat the joggers on the coffee table and picked Kaitlyn up as if she was a baby. I treat her like a baby because I care about my 'younger' sister. If had another sister, you bet your flat ass I would be very protective.

KT-"I think it was Liam's father who did it."

Told you, we think the same.

KD-"Me too."

Kaitlyn wrapped her arms around my neck as we walked over to the couch next to the one Liam was on. I sat down, wrapping my arms around Kaitlyn. I cuddled her close to me as she had tears going down her face like mine.

KT-"I wish mom and dad were here to help."

KD-"Me too KT, me too."

Our parents left to go to some event in Florida for YouTube and they decided to bring Nathan. Kaitlyn and I were going to go, but we both felt a little sick and decided against it. They aren't coming back for a couple weeks so it will just be me and her. Unless Liam decides to stay. Then it will be us three.

I was starting to become tired and I think Kaitlyn already cried herself to sleep. I slowly closed my eyes and drifted off into the darkness of sleep.

--------Time Skip-------

Liam's P.O.V

I woke up to a knock on a door. I opened my eyes, taking a look around the room as my body ached. I saw Kaitlyn cuddled up against Kayden as they were both asleep. They are both of course very heavy sleepers so I decided to get the door. Before getting up, I saw a pair of joggers like Kayden's sitting on the coffee table. I looked at my body as I sat up and saw my shorts had blood on them.

I slowly stood up in pain as the knocking on the door continued. I ignored it for another minute as I quickly switched my jeans for the joggers. It hurt really bad, but I couldn't go over there with blood on my shorts and a bruised body. I didn't care as much about the bruises.

I walked over to the door and when I was about to open it, there was another knock along with Kaitlyn and Kayden moving.

I opened the door, revealing a very familiar face, but older than what I remember. The person had the same dirty blonde hair as mine, a sharp jawline like mine, hazel eyes that were more green than blue unlike mine, and they were slightly taller than me. The person was looking at me completely shocked as he looked my body up and down.

I was completely shocked he was here. He was completely shocked at what he was seeing.

I heard Kaitlyn and Kayden moving in the background then felt a hand in mine. It was small so it was obvious that it was Kaitlyn's.

KT-"Liam, who is this?"

I took a deep breath as the two looked each other up and down. Kayden was of course looking him up and down because I saw the guys' eyes moving back and forth behind me.

LM-"That's my brother."

I couldn't believe after four years, my brother is on my best friend and girlfriends' doorstep.

EL-"Hi Liam."

LM-"Elliot."

KD-"Liam, why is Elliot here?"

LM-"I could ask you the same question."

I had no clue why Elliot was here of all places.

EL-"I know I have a lot to explain, can I come in and talk to you, all?"

LM-"Don't ask me. It's not my house."

Elliot looked over at the twins, who looked at one another and nodded their heads.

KD-"Yeah, come on in."

I moved out of his path to the side and let him enter. I closed the door and grabbed Kaitlyn's hand as I followed Kayden and Elliot to the living room. I guess I was a little shocked and tense because Kaitlyn squeezed my hand. I looked down at her and she smiled.

KT-"It's going to be okay."

I gave her a heart felt smile as we walked into the living room.

This could end good or bad.
