i woke up on someone's couch.

please be alex's please be alex's please be alex's.

"hi." someone scared the shit out of me.

i quickly sat up and looked around, seeing alex clean up red cups.

"oh, hi." i said. quickly sitting up hurt my head a lot.
"how much did i drink?" i asked him.

"not that much." alex laughed and showed me a stack of about 7 cups, probably showing me how much i drank.

"is everyone gone?" i stood up.

"kind of... not really... troye and jacob are in my bedroom." he laughed again.

"really?" i also laughed.

he nodded and continued cleaning up.

"should i help you?"

"nah, i'm about done. i'm gonna get coffee for everyone who's still here." alex got his keys and put on a jacket.

"that's sweet."

he smiled at me and walked out.

-

i was just sitting on alex's couch waiting for someone to wake up. i haven't even grabbed my phone yet.

i found my phone somewhere across the room and turned it on, seeing a few text messages from scott.

scott:
hi

how was it

my head still hurts

so thats fun

i wanted to type a response but someone jumped next to me on the couch.

"who are you texting?" it was troye. he seemed a lot happier then normal, and normally he's a pretty happy guy.

i turned off my phone.
"no one. what's up with you?" i laughed.

"ughhhhh, i just love christmas..." he paused, sighed and continued.
"... and jacob." his face was literally glowing.

"what happened?" i asked.

"well, do you know that feeling when you, like, love somebody but are too afraid to say it because you think they don't feel the same way?"

the entire time he was saying that i just thought scott scott scott scott scott scott scott.
"y-yeah, i can imagine."

"turns out me and jacob felt the same way-"

scott scott scott scott scott scott scott.

"isn't that great?" troye smiled.

"wh... yeah. that's pretty great." i did not listen to him.

"right?"

i nodded. luckily alex walked in, so i could stop thinking about scott.

"troye!" he smiled and threw his keys on the table.
"i got coffee, where's jacob?"

troye pointed to the bedroom.

alex handed us both a holiday starbucks cup filled with hot coffee.

"wait, troye." alex paused.
"you didn't drink, right?"

"i don't know, no?"

alex squinted his eyes and laughed. he sat on the other side of me so i was in between him and troye.

"do any of you know where scott was last night by the way?" alex asked.

nice. now i'm thinking about scott again.
