when scott opened the door he, of course, was shirtless. how... what... why... he looks so hot?

"hello." he smiled.

"hi."

"oh, right. your gift." he said she turned around.

"wait, let me come in first." i laughed.
"if you want me to."

"yes yes, of course." he turned back and grabbed my arm, pulling me inside.
"sit." he signed to the end of bed.

i did as he said and sat down. i took a sip of the coffee alex gave me earlier.

"can i have some?" scott asked.

"of my coffee?"

"no." he rolled his eyes sarcastically.

i handed him the cup and got out my phone, seeing some text messages from the christmas group chat.

alex:
on december 31st im giving a new years party for who wants to come

there are gonna be more people than yesterday

betty:
fun i'll be there

jacob:
me and troye too

travis:
i'll come

haley:
scott and i will be there too

hmm, does scott know? no he does not.

i quickly turned off my phone, hoping i didn't have to answer. i don't know if i'll go.

"apparently i'm going to the new years party." scott sighed and sat down next to me with his phone in his hand.

"do you want to go?" i asked.

"are you coming?"

i shrugged.
"sure."

"then yes." he nodded once and smiled.

awe.

"gift." he said and got something out of the pocket of his sweatpants.
"these are cigarettes." he nervously laughed and put them back in his pocket.

he hit his legs and sighed.
"i actually didn't get you anything."

"t-"

"i'm so sorry. i just wanted you to come over again since i was a bit of a mess yesterday."

"it's fine." i said. i can't not smile. he's so cute.

"okay good. but can you, like, not go yet?" scott said, moving back so he was laying down on the bed.

"what do you mean?"

"i mean that i want you to stay."

"forever?" i also layed down.

he laughed a little.

"by the way, where's my coffee?" i asked, trying to stay serious and not laugh.

"oh, about that... i finished it so i threw it away. sorry." he said.
"but i'll buy you some another time."

"well..." i looked at the ceiling. i really hope he understands that i'm joking.

"can you forgive me?"

"maybe." i tried to hide a smile that was forming on my face.

scott moved closer and pressed his nose against my cheek.
"please?"

stop.

i turned my head, the tip of his nose pointing against mine.

stOp.
