Chapter 10-Invite
(Beth’s POV)
Once I’ve finished my little violent episode, I decide to go and have a walk around the school with Macy and just talk about girl stuff.
‘So you don’t like Ryan?’ she asks and I roll my eyes.
‘For Christ sake can we talk about something other than that mong, please?’ I spit out at her.
‘Fine, do you fancy anyone?’
‘Yeah I fancy a Subway right now-‘
‘That’s not what I meant!’ Macy shrieks.
‘Fine, I don’t fancy anyone’
‘Is that the truth?’ She asks squinting her eyes.
‘Yes, who would I fancy?’
‘You told me not to talk about him so don’t worry’
‘I’m not worrying, trust me.’
‘We need to go to a party; we haven’t been to one in ages’ she announces.
‘I know right!’
Then Josh runs up to us.
He is so hot. I wouldn’t mind a slice of him.
‘Hey, Beth’ he greets then winks.
I laugh like an idiot then Macy sighs loudly.
‘Aren’t you going to say hi to me?’ Macy asks sarcastically.
‘Sup, Macy. Didn’t see you there!’ Josh states with a fake beaming smile.
‘Sure you didn’t. What do you want, Josh? We’re kinda busy’ Macy proclaims.
‘I’m here to invite you both to my party tonight, it’s gunna be great. They’ll be alcohol, loud music, a great atmosphere and most importantly… they’ll be me!’ Josh reveals.
Boy I like the sound of that… I deserve it after all.
I interrupt Macy’s ‘No’ with ‘Of course, we’d love to come’.
‘Oh I didn’t realise that you’d be cumming’ Josh answers cheekily.
I playfully hit his arm and he winks and walks away with his mates.
Macy turns to me; she looks angry.
‘What?’ I ask while chuckling.
‘You know I hate that guy!’
‘Well you’ve got to suck it up. I had to hang out with someone who I resent for three days.’ I throw at her.
‘But you secretly loved it’ She throws back.
I stop in my path.
‘No I bloody didn’t. It was agonizing.’ I state.
‘Fine, can I come round your house to get ready with you for tonight?’ Macy asks.
‘Sure, just don’t talk about ‘it’’ then I walk off.
I’m gunna try and hit it off with Josh tonight; hopefully it would get Ryan off my mind.
Not that he was in my mind in the first place!
