Chapter 23-Recovery

 (Beth’s POV)

 Sitting in English in silence makes me think about everything that has happened. And it’s truly pathetic. I’m not gunna let Ryan call me all them horrible names anymore, I’m moving on. I deserve someone who isn’t spiteful to me. After all, I did hate him when I met him anyway. So it’ll be easy right?

As the bell rings I awake from my thought track while jumping and knocking books off my desk. I place my head in my hands in anger then I feel someone standing beside me; I can feel the warmth of their skin on mine.

I look up and see such a hot guy and he’s picking up my books and placing them back on my desk.

‘Thank you so much…’ I begin.

‘Rough day?’ he asks.

‘Rough past 5 months more like’ I reply.

He smiles lightly.

‘There’s a party at my mates house tonight, everyone’s going. You fancy going with me and being with my plus one? Forget those past 5 months?’ he questions.

‘Sure, sounds great.’

I scribble down my number on a piece of paper and hand it to him.

‘Text me the details and I’ll be there.’ I order then walk out of class with my books.

*home*

I get home and flop onto my bed. I pull out my phone and check my texts to see the boy has text me already! I open it.

‘Party is at 9pm tonight, address is 26 Jules Place, when you get the door, just ask for Jesse (that’s me ;)) and I’ll be right there to help you forget those past 5 months ;) xxx’

I instantly smile like an idiot.

‘Sounds great, nice name by the way ;)’

Send.

I receive a reply soon enough and open it straight away.

‘Thanks, would be lovely if I knew your name ;) xxx’

‘You should have been sneaky and seen it written on my books when you picked them up ;) xx’

‘Sorry, I was a bit distracted by how beautiful you are :3 xxx’

Wow… is he an angel?

‘Wow… thank you, hottie ;) See you tonight :* xxx’

I can’t wait for tonight now!

I decide to tweet this exciting event.

 (Ryan’s POV)

 Now I haven’t got a girlfriend, I have nothing to do with my life until the band gets back in the studio. I sit and scroll through my twitter and notice CeCe has put a sob story on there about me.

@cecemcclean: boys are horrible animals who have no respect for girls, don’t waste your time with them.

I roll my eyes, what a pile of shite.

Then I see a tweet from Beth… she’s going to a party and claims her date is ‘Jesse’. That’s it, I’ve made up my mind. It’s time to go win back Beth.

‘Right’ I raise my voice as I rise from the sofa.

Everyone’s heads flick up to look at me including the girlfriends.

‘We’re going to a party tonight’ I declare.

‘We are?’ Andy asks.

‘We are.’ I confirm.

Tonight is the night, I’m sure of it.
