Samaira woke up unusually early, and dressed up in beautiful crisp navy blue knee-length dress for her big interview. She tied her hair in a pony tail and applied light make-up to look like a thorough professional, no-nonsense girl.
"Subah subah kahan chal di itni....itni," Sonakshi checked out her normally tom boyish sister from head to toe, "professional type bankar?"
"Not everyone has the luxury to stay in college all her life....kisi ko toh aate-dal ka bhaav pataa hona chaahiye na iss ghar mein?" Samaira teased her.
"Good luck with your interview......you must be really interested in this job, tabhi itni serious hai!" Sonakshi conjectured.
Samaira picked her handbag and tied a beautiful blue scarf around her neck and waved, "bye Sonakshi...I will need all the luck." She swung her bag on her shoulder and left the apartment, "Pataa nahin job mein interested hoon ya kisi aur mein?" she smiled as she remembered Rehaan's poster from last night.
ELENA AGGARWAL's OFFICE:
"May I come in ma'am?" Samaira knocked on the door softly, "I am Samaira Bose." Elena Aggarwal, a young lady in her 20's, tall, thin and graceful, looked up and glanced at her watch, "Oh...abhi toh sirf 9.30 huye hain.....aap jaldi aa gayi."
"OK...I will wait in the lobby ma'am," Samaira said politely
"NO...NO...come in...come in," Elena smiled, "we love to hire people who are so punctual.....you have already passed the first phase of your interview......aa jao....I will give you some paperwork in the mean time."
Samaira walked in like an obedient girl and sat down, "thanks ma'am."
"You can call me Elena," her friendly smile was a pleasant surprise for Samaira, as she had heard horror stories about strict discipline and the business-like culture of the company.

"Here you go.....you have to take this 100 question test first," Elena handed her a thin booklet.
"Test?" Samaira was horrified.
"Yes.....Dev sir wants to make sure all his employees are smart enough for this company.....iss test ke bina wo aapko consider bhi nahin karenge," Elena replied.
Samaira hated tests and exams; she was upset with her dad, that he did not prep her about this part of the interview. She had thought, a phone call from an illustrious ex-employee was enough to get her the job.
