"Po?"

"I said, you didn't answer my question."

"What question, sir?"

"Who were you talking to on the phone a while ago?"

"Ah! My friend sir."

"What's his name?"

Dang! Why did I ask that? I look like a jealous boyfriend. Naisip ni Jake.

"Never mind."

"Ah, sir, she's a girl. She's Nadia, my bestfriend."

Hindi kumibo si Jake at umupo na ito sa kama niya.

"Sir, do you need anything pa po?"

"I'm fine. You can take a rest for a while."

Aba! Mabait naman pala itong si pogi.

"Sige, sir. I'll just be downstairs. I'm just going to drink water. Just call me sir if you need anything."

Nang hindi ito kumibo ay diretso na si Diane pumanaog ng hagdan papuntang kusina.

Nang tumunog ang cellphone ni Jake.

"Diane!"

"Yes, sir."

Hindi na nito kailangang ulitin pa dahil nang marinig lang ni Diane ang tunog ng cellphone nito ay bumalik agad ito.

"Here's your phone sir."

"Thank you."

Hmm. Marunong mag thank you. Plus points na naman. Naku, nakakarami na 'to ng pogi points ah.

"Bro."

Hindi na ni Diane narinig pa ang pinag usapan ng amo at ng kung sino man ang nasa kabilang linya dahil bumaba na siya.

Pero ang isa pang hindi niya maalis sa isipan ay ang ringtone nito. Tama ba ang dinig niya? Mahal Kita Kasi ba ang ringtone nito?

Nakakahiya namang tanungin niya ito. Hindi naman sila close at boss niya lamang ito.

"Bro."

"Kumusta, bro? I heard you got your new nurse already."

"Yeah, I did. I'm surprised you're not starting the phone call with 'Clary and I', Clary this, Clary that." He laughed.

"Speaking of which, we broke up."

"What?"

"We just broke up yesterday, bro."

"But why?"

"I don't know. She just got mad at me."

"What did you do? I know I'm not an expert with relatioships but Clary wouldn't just get mad at you for no reason."

"Look who's talking! How many girlfriends have you got? At gaano lang ba sila nagtatagal na girlfriend mo?" Tumatawang sagot naman nito.

"Psh. Don't throw it back at me. Why did you two really break up?"

"Bro, honestly, I didn't do anything. Plus, we've already been into several fights lately. It's just a matter of time na mag-bi-break kami. The break up was actually not unexpected. We both knew it's gonna come sooner or later."

"The question is why have you been fighting?"

Jimmy smirked on the other line.

"Wait. Wait... don't tell me it's about that girl?"

"Ha-ha! Which girl?" Painosenteng tanong nito.

"Don't play innocent; it is the girl you were telling me? Did you tell Clary about her?"

"I did. But what does it have to do with it?"

"You're such an idiot bro. Yeah; of course, your girlfriend won't get jealous when you were thinking of another girl. Sure." He said sarcastically.

"God! Why am I such an idiot? Well, you can't blame me. She was really something, dude!"

"What did you see in her anyway?"

"Something you didn't."

"Ha! Ha! Ha! Very funny! 'Coz I can't see a thing."

Then they were silent for a while. Nang muling nagsalita si Jimmy.

"You know, dad fell in love with a Filipina. And we know why. See? Filipinas are rare types of beauty. Like mom. Like this girl that I bumped into at the hospital."

"And you don't even know her."

"Uhm, it's called love at first sight?"

"It's called infatuation! You don't love her. You're just infatuated with her."

"The same thing."

"Yeah, whatever. Anything else?"

"They're also-"

"I'm asking if there's anything more you'd like to tell me. Why you called?"

"Oh, yeah! I'll be there in a few days."

"That's great!"

"Yeah! So anyway, I have to go. See you when I get there bro!"

"See ya!"

Actually, I know what Jimmy's saying. I also met a Filipina whom I felt something different towards too. We haven't really met. But I think I knew her before I actually saw her. Will we meet again?
