{AVERY'S POV}

"I guess so." I responded.

"Have I lost you?" A tear running down his cheek.

I took a minute to breathe so I wouldn't cry but it did nothing. The tears came one after the other.

"No." I whispered as I rushed over to him and hugged him tightly.

His hugs were tight and comforting.

"I never want to lose you!" I stated.

"Neither do I." He admitted.

I loved him and it hurt.

"Promise you will never leave?" I looked him in the eyes.

I knew it was too much to ask but I wanted him to say 'promise'. That's all I cared about right now. Kian was constantly on my mind and I wish he wasn't. He pulled out of the hug and focused on my eyes.

"I can't." His eyes filled.

I didn't know what to say.

"Why?" I stared hard.

"There's going to be a time where we both will have to let go." He pronounced.

"But i'm not ready to let go." I stepped back feeling embarrassed.

"Goodnight Avery." He said as he walked out closing the door behind him.

"Goodnight." I whispered back to myself.

I felt guilty for being self-centered. I let my emotions come over me. I tried to sleep but I couldn't. I could only think about Kian and blame myself for what I did to him.

I rolled myself out of bed and shuffled through my drawers trying to find some clothes for today. I picked out a black crop top and black and white aztec leggings. I grabbed a bra and a pair of underwear and headed towards the bathroom. Lucky for me everyone was still asleep.

I stood in the warm yet cold shower watching the water drip down my body. I washed my hair and body along with my face. I skipped shaving because I had done it yesterday.

I yanked the towel from the rack and wrapped it around my bare body. I plugged in the hair dryer and flat iron from under the sink and started to heat it up as I got dressed. I brushed my hair thoroughly and blow dried it as well. When I was done I straightened my hair in layers and unplugged them both.

I walked into my bedroom with my pajamas and threw them in the laundry basket. I grabbed my makeup bag and applied some eyeliner and mascara. When I was finished I ran back to the bathroom to put the hair straightener and blow dryer away. I put off brushing my teeth until after I ate something.

I searched through the pantry trying to find something small to eat. I grabbed a granola bar. I leaned against the counter as I ate it. I looked over at the clock that read 7:20.

"You're up early." Jamie's voice startled me.

"Yeah." I looked behind me.

"Couldn't sleep?" She asked.

"How'd you know?" I retorted.

"You were moaning all night." She chuckled.

"Do you think Kian has feelings for me?" I turned around sharply.

"I don't know." She stated.

"It hurts Jamie."

"What hurts?" She she opened the fridge and grabbed the milk.

"I love Kian so much that it hurts." I admitted.

"How do you know you love him?" She laughed at my statement.
