I flipped my hair back and looked over at Kian.
"Um." I bit my lip.
"Jamie can I talk to you?" I asked her.
She shrugged and walked over while Kian made himself comfortable on my bed.
"Alone." I looked at all the guys.
Kian shut the door as he walked out.
"What the hell?" She whispered.
"I can't choose." I stated.
"Well you have until 5 to make up your mind." She folded her arms.
"How?" I questioned.
"Alright let's see. Um." She started thinking.
"I love Kian but he's going home for personal reasons and he isn't sure about coming back. I like Dallas and I will probably only ever like him, but he's closer to me than Kian will be eventually." I blurted out then sat on my bed.
"What do I do?" I stared at the wall.
"I think you've already made up your mind." She sat by me.
"Boy's suck." I sniffled.
"Well yeah. That's how they are." She laughed.
I giggled.
"Come downstairs, but-" she started.
"I don't want you to be involved with Kian until you've made everything official."
"Ok." I sighed.
We walked downstairs together to notice all the guys watching t.v. I looked over at the clock to read 12:57. Jamie and I walked into the Kitchen and pulled out some snacks.
I glanced over at the guys to see Kian looking over at me. I quickly turned my head back and started talking to Jamie.
"Am I supposed to ignore him or something?" I ate a cracker.
"No, just don't kiss him or make faces with him or anything." She pronounced.
I nodded and ate another cracker.
Kian got up from the couch and walked towards the kitchen to get a drink. As he got closer I got up and sat on the back porch of the beach house. Within 5 minutes I heard someone open the back door.
"Kian I-"
"It's Jc." He said.
"Oh hey."
"Hey." He sat by me.
"Have you made up your mind yet?"
"I think so." I retorted.
Hours had passed and it was finally time to meet Dallas. I had butterflies in my stomach that only got worse as I walked closer to the beach.
"Hey." He smiled.
"Hi." I replied.
"What's wrong?" He could see the fear in my eyes.
"Dallas. Uh I-I can't do this." I admitted.
"What are you talking about?" He interrogated.
"Be with you. I love Kian!" It slipped.
"You love Kian." He repeated my words.
"I love Kian." I looked down at the ground.
"I'm sorry." I claimed.
"Avery." He took hold of my arms.
"We went on one date, i'm not upset." He beamed.
"You're not?"
"No. We weren't technically even a thing." He chuckled.
"Can we at least be friends." I was embarrassed.
"Friends." He smiled and hugged me.
{KIAN'S POV}
I stared at Avery and Dallas out the window. They seemed happy and I felt like I ruined it.
"Kian!" Jamie shouted.
"What?" I turned my head to her.
"Would you stop creeping on them?" She poured popcorn into a bowl.
I sighed and walked away.
{AVERY'S POV}
"Come here I want to show you something." He put me in front of him and held his hands over my eyes.
"Oh uh ok." I said.
We walked along the beach for a couple minutes before stepping on solid ground.
"Ok open your eyes." He removed his hands.
I stood there over looking the ocean from the pier. Something was shining above me. I looked up to see white lights dangling from side to side.
"What's this?" I stared at the sunset.
"I didn't want it to go to waste."
"It's beautiful."
"Right?" He set his elbow on my shoulder.
"I'm sorry."
"For what?"
"Ruining it. I ruined this perfect moment. It must have taken a while."
"It's cool and not as long as you think." He moved his elbow and leaned against the edge.
Music began playing in the background.
"Ma lady." He put out his hand.
I took it as I giggled.
We started slow dancing. I rested my head on his shoulder. It had been a good 2 or 3 minutes before he tripped and I fell on top of him.
"Oh my god!" I laughed.
"Shutup." He laughed along.
Before I knew it my lips were pressed against his.
"Oh um." I pushed away instantly.
"I am so sorry." I stated.
"No i'm sorry." He sat up.
"I don't know why I did that."
"I guess my attractiveness just can't seem to keep you away." He giggled.
"Guess not." I said sarcastically.
"Ok well I have a waiter inside waiting to serve us food so are you hungry?" He helped me up.
"Uh yeah." We walked inside.
{KIAN'S POV}
It was 10:00 and I still haven't seen Avery. We were all on the couch watching Now You See Me, although I wasn't really paying attention. My mind was set on Avery.
"Bro. Snap out of it. I'm sure everything's fine." Jc snapped at me.
"If everything was she would be home by now." I mumbled under my breath.
{AVERY'S POV}
Hours had past when we finally walked up to my door.
"I still feel bad about ruining tonight." I said.
"And I still feel bad that my great looks made you kiss me." He chuckled.
"Are you ever going to let that go?" I asked.
"Eventually. Not now."
"Well thanks for tonight." I smiled and pulled him into a hug.
"Admit it." He pulled away.
"Admit what?" I questioned.
"You have feelings for me. I can see it in your eyes. I don't want you to hold it in." He put his hands on my arms.
"Excuse me?"
"Sorry." He looked down.
It slipped out of my mouth faster than my mind could process. "I'm falling for you."
