Vince invited Nikki and Tommy inside, and they were about to start eating stuff out of Vince's fridge when the phone rang. The singer picked it up and leaned against the closed fridge, smiling slyly at Nikki and Tommy, who was frowning as they didn't get to steal his food. "Vince Neil speaking", he said into the phone, then waiting for a while, "Yeah, he's right here, I'll give it to him". He handed the phone to Nikki, who looked rather confused. "It's Mick", the phone told him, "The blonde priest answered your message. Come back here and answer; he won't stop spamming you". Nikki lifted the phone off his ear, and looked over at Tommy. "Duff answered our message!", he said happily. "Awesome, dude!", Tommy exclaimed, "What did he say?" Nikki put the phone back to his ear. "Mick, what did –" "Come over", Mick interrupted. Nikki turned back to Tommy again. "He says we have to come over and read it ourselves", he said, getting a sigh back from Tommy. "But it's three hours from home, and we just got here", he complained, looking over at the fridge, which still had a certain Mr. Neil leaning against it. "I'll go with ya", Vince offered, "And don't worry, I've got my own car". Indeed; Vince had the biggest collection of cars Nikki and Tommy had ever seen. "I'm right behind ya", he added, and after getting some turkey from Vince's fridge, they were off.

Three hours later, they were all gathered at Mick's castle. Nikki and Tommy ran inside, with Vince behind, looking a little nervous as he was still kind of crushing on Mick. Nikki almost tripped and fell as he threw himself over the chair in front of the computer, and after missing the chair and hitting the floor, he formally got up and sat down on the chair, after having to listen to Tommy sing "Another One Bites the Dust", making everyone laugh. He leaned closer to the screen and scrolled down the page, skimming through the fifty messages Duff had sent. "What does it say?", Tommy asked, leaning over Nikki's shoulder. "That he'll be happy to marry us, and that he's on his way to L.A. right now!", Nikki replied, beaming of happiness. Tommy was so excited. "He sent that more than three hours ago", Mick informed, "Since he lives in Vegas, he'll be here in less than an hour". Nikki looked up at Tommy. "I just can't wait to see him again", he said excitedly, "Tommy, be better hit home so that we'll be there as soon as he gets here".

As Nikki and Tommy left, Vince was the only one left with Mick. Now he really regretted coming. To make it less awkward, he broke the silence. "Uhh... So... Alone again then, I guess...", he mumbled shyly, making Mick sigh and roll his eyes. "Vince, you don't have to say anything", he said. It was quiet for a while, until Mick sighed once again. He had decided that after all Vince had been through, he deserved better than jail and an ungrateful Axl Rose in his life. He knew that he was going to regret it later, but he had to do something. "OK, now listen, Strawberry", he started, "If it makes it any better..." He took a deep breath. "...you can kiss me once". Once, but once was enough for Vince to lose his mind. Vince could feel the heat rising to his cheeks, and turned away as he didn't want Mick to see him blushing, but soon turned back to look at him again. "Uhm...", he stuttered. Mick sighed for the sixtieth time that day; he was getting impatient, and just wanted to get it over with. "Well, are we gonna do it or not?", he asked, getting nothing but a shy nod back from Vince. Mick had realized long ago that Vince would be too nervous and freaked out to do it himself, so he simply leaned forward and just kissed him. For once Mick did something for the sake of his bandmate, and not just simple advice this time, but something that would mean the world to the singer. And this time Mick volunteered, something of which he usually never did. He leaned back and opened his eyes, thinking that this was never going to reach the public ears. If Vince opened his mouth about this to the press he was a dead man. Vince didn't even know what to say; it all happened so quickly. His face was all red and his pulse was ready to explode. "You're not saying anything", he finally said, breaking the tension, "You hated it, right?" Mick shook his head. "No, I didn't hate it", he said, "It wasn't as bad as I had expected it to be". Vince's face remained red, but he also managed a smile. Mick came to the conclusion that this was it; he didn't have to worry about it anymore now, thinking that this was just what Vince needed to get over him. But on a rare occasion once in a while, even Mick Mars is wrong.
