The trip to the camp, which at the moment seemed to be lasting forever, only took three hours of bus. Nikki and Tommy sat next to eachother, Nikki by the window, with Vince and Mick right behind them. Nikki had fallen asleep on Tommy's shoulder, and Vince kept complaining to Mick about how perfect and fabulous his hair looked, and how it was going to get all ruined when they got to the dirty camp. Mick wasn't exactly paying attention; resting his head against the window, he was reading a book with a title too boring to make Vince interested in even looking at it. Tommy was resting his head on Nikki's, and was only half-listening to Vince's speech behind them. "I mean, look at these beautiful blonde locks!", Vince proudly bragged, flipping his hair, "So much volume, right!? And so perfectly blow-dried this morning, topped with only a can of hairspray! And all for nothing! When we get to the camp, the water in the air is gonna stick to it, and it'll get really huge, and I'll look like a poodle!" Mick didn't even notice that Vince was still talking; he had stopped paying attention long ago. "You mean, you'll look even more like a poodle than you already do?", Tommy joked, turning around in his seat to look at the blonde. "What was that?", Vince asked, badly hiding that he was offended by Tommy's cheap joke. "Well, uh... Your nose looks like the Grand Canyon!", he shouted, waking Nikki up in the process. "Huh?", Nikki mumbled, rubbing his eyes. "The guy in the school band broke it, and you know it!", Tommy barked at the stupid blonde behind him. "What?", Nikki asked tiredly, confused of why everyone was yelling at eachother. Tommy turned back around, trying to forget about the poodle. "Oh, I didn't tell you that story?", he asked. Nikki shook his head, hinting for Tommy to tell him. "Well, some years ago I was in the school band, right?", Tommy started, getting a nod from Nikki, "I played drums, but there was also this other guy that did, and he felt jealous because I was a little better than him. So one day, as I was tying my shoes, someone poked me on the shoulder, and when I turned to see who it was, there was this guy, smashing his fist into my face, hitting my nose so it broke. I had to go to the hospital, and the only thing they did was to smash it back in its place, and to this day it remains crooked". Nikki was pretty close to being speechless at this point of the story. "Did it hurt?", he asked. Tommy laughed. "Yeah, dude, it hurt like hell!" They both laughed, while Vince was just sitting there behind them with crossed arms, talking to himself. "Hmpf... Poodle my ass".

At the camp, the obvious choice was that the four of them shared a camp-hut. Luckily, it was four beds in there, and Vince immediately spotted the best one. "Dibs!", he shouted, jumping up to the upper bed to the left. The three others walked into the room, randomly picking the other beds. Mick took the one under Vince, and Tommy took the one under Nikki. Nikki climbed up to put his stuff on the bed, finding a huge yellowy spot in the middle of the mattress. "Ew!", he exclaimed. "What?", Tommy asked, climbing up, only to find the same spot that Nikki was staring at. "What's the matter?", Vince asked, putting his makeup in the bathroom-part of the small hut. "There's a huge yellow spot on Nikki's bed!", Tommy replied, calling just loud enough for Vince to hear it in the bathroom. "Gross!", Vince replied. "Looks like the two of you is gonna have to share one bed", Mick said, making the both of them panic a little. "What!?" "Yeah", Mick said, "If Nikki doesn't want to sleep in someone else's yellow spot". Tommy scratched his head. "Uh, yeah, that's fine", he said, "We could, if that's OK with you". Nikki shrugged awkwardly. "Uhm, sure". And so the two of them ended up sharing the bed the entire weekend.
