The 1st Hunger Games - Introduction

District 7

Finally time! I been waiting so long for this! The first Hunger Games are about to begin! Serves them right to. I straighten my bright yellow wig and make my way to the stage in front of the justice building, where the first ever District 7 tributes will soon be entering.

I do everything that I've been told; introduce myself, make some announcements, play the video and get ready to draw the name of the female tribute. I dig my hand into the glass bowl and read out the name...

"Hannah Shields"

Hannah makes her way out of the 12 year old section looking as though she wants to kill me and the whole Capitol. She is rather tall for her age, and she also looks quite strong, but very skinny. She has caramel coloured skin, hazel eyes and frizzy medium brown hair left out.

Well, I think, if she can use an axe she might have a chance, should be very interesting! I now dig out male tributes name...

"Jackson Marks"

To contrast the age differences, Jackson walks boldly out of the 18 year old section. He is tall and strong looking with tanned skin. He has medium brown coloured straight hair tied in a pony and dark brown eyes.

Hmm, I think, he might well have a chance to. I can't wait to find out what the other districts tributes are like.

"Thank you everyone, the next time you will see these two tributes is at the tribute parade!" I announce, "and let the odds be ever in your favour."

I lead them both into the justice building for them to say their goodbyes to their families and friends.
