The next day you threw on a pair of black lulu lemon leggings, Gray Crewneck, Adidas and threw my hair in a messy bun.
As you walked in the doors of school,
you kept on looking if I can see Grayson around the halls.
But before I could even find him,
the stupid bell rang which meant you had to walk into first period, English.
you walked into see no sign of Grayson.
So you just sat and took out your english book.
And of course while hearing the teacher,
you heard the door softly open to see tired looking Grayson with sweats and a Vans sweater.
"Mr Dolan why are you late today now"
the teacher said sarcastically.
Grayson said nothing just gave him his late slip, scratching his scruffy beard and crossing his arms while the teacher looks over the tardy slip.
Then he starts looking up and came back to reality in the class' atmosphere and glanced at you.
you gulped softly as you turned back to finish taking the notes.
Then finally he took his seat looking over at the notes.

After two hours of boredom the bell finally rings and students start leaving and packing up.
As you were still putting your binder away, Grayson was tying his shoe.
I tried to hurry to catch up to him and talk but he quickly tied it.
He glanced at me and threw his backpack on his shoulder and left to the the crowded halls.
You Sighed and wondered why he was so mad that you didn't tell him.
You then keep walking twiddling your thumbs through the halls but got stopped by Kenneth.
You rolled your eyes and kept walking but he grabbed you by the wrist turning you back.
"Don't walk away Trashy"
he smirked
"Guess you made the effort to dress today right?"
You scoffed.
He said looking up and down at you.
"Yeah I made an effort to stop dressing like you"
you said back.
At this point everybody was hearing and whoa'ed at your comeback.
You could see the anger rise in Kenneth causing him to start digging his finger nails in his fist.
You look up to see everybody looking at you both including Grayson in the back with his head down and clenched jaw.
You sighed and took steps walking out.
" You know what-"
said Kenneth
you turned back and before you knew it his hand was on your cheek with a stinging pain.
Suddenly everyone started gasping.
He just hit you.
-Grayson's pov-
I was still disappointed in Y/N for not telling me the truth even though I shouldn't have snapped at her.
Then me and Ethan were talking since I got out of English class.
Then suddenly I hear that black haired dude, named Kenneth, I think.
But he was saying some rude stuff to Y/N but before he could get away with it she roasted him back, it was pretty good I would say since she is really shy.
She looked over at me but then started walking away but before we knew I saw Kenneth's hand land on Y/N's face.
And that's when I had it.
-End of Grayson's pov-
It stung hard and bad, Kenneth just laughed.
Then suddenly Grayson rushed through the crowd and pushed Kenneth down strongly and looked over to you.
"Are you ok?"
He asked in a soft voice.
"It stings"
He put his hand on my cheek, checking it.
The looked back at Kenneth
"Hope you know that's disgusting to put your hands on a girl like that."
he said madly pushing him back.
"Don't you dare put your hands on her again" He yelled.
"What is going on here"
The principle asked as everyone went away to the cafeteria.
"Get outside now"
the principal said as he took Kenneth with him and asked Grayson to take me to the nurses office.
"Why the heck was he saying that stuff to you Y/N?"
Grayson said sternly.
"he has been teasing me for bit, sorry for not saying anything gray."
You say to him.
He pulled me into a hug and handed me the Ice.
Later on we went home and did nothing but act like normally again.
