I hear the car engine start as I quickly start driving out of the school parking lot. My phone suddenly beeps. I look down at it as I see the message I got from Grayson.
G- Come over, I Miss you.
I smile as I look at the text. I quickly text back saying I would be over soon.
Me and Grayson have been dating for over 6 months now. I feel happy with him because he's not like other guys. I can't hang out with him at school most of the time tho. Mostly because all my friends hate the goodie nerds. I don't want Grayson to get hurt by them but they would also hurt me since I kept it from them, especially for 6 months. So I try not being seen with Grayson.
But I plan on telling my friends this week about Grayson, even if it kills me because I rather be with the one I love. And that was Grayson.
I pull up into Grayson's driveway, getting out of the car heading to the front door. I knock, waiting for a minute before the knob jiggles.
The front door opens revealing Grayson's mother, Lisa.
"Hi" I'd say greeting her with a smile.
"Y/N, hi come in sweetheart." She greets me.
I enter their grand home as she yells up the stairs for Grayson.
I sit on the couch, as I wait for gray.
The stairs creak as I see a smiley Grayson walking down the stairs.
He smiles at me as I smile back. He runs up to me giving me a huge hug.
I hug back as I kiss his jawline.
He grabs my hand leading me up to the stairs and into the hallway.
We pass by Ethan's room with the door was wide open. He quickly looked at me as he smiled. I smiled back.
Grayson gets to his room and starts telling me about his day and telling him about mine. I kept on smiling because I just loved him too much. We both cuddled on his bed watching The kissing booth.
I looked over him, with him not even noticing that I was looking at him since he was focused on the movie.
I started to realize I wouldn't want to let him go for anyone.
My phone vibrates as I grab it seeing a message from Ethan, Grayson's Twin brother.
Ethan:) - I need to talk to you a.s.a.p.
Y/n- about what?
Ethan- just meet me in my room.
I starts getting worried, biting my lip nervously.
"Imma go to the bathroom brb" I tell Grayson.
"Yeah sure" he laughs
I get up sliding my Vans slides heading out Grayson's door closing the door.

You walk into Ethan's room, closing the door behind you.
"What's up?" You ask sitting on the beanbag beside him.
"About Grayson" he sighs
"Uh...what about him?" You raise your brows
"All the guys are starting to get suspicious about you two" he says which gets you worried
Ethan knew all your friends not mentioning he's in the 'popular' group like you, so he knew everyone you knew in the group. But gray was in the non popular group.
"What do you mean, do they know we're dating?"
"No, but close, there starting to catch up. They say they saw you getting closer to him" he says
"Y/N I'm worried. What if they beat you two up" he sighs
Your heart starts beating so fast you feel like your about to pass out.
"I was planning to tell them this week" you said
"They wouldn't care y/n, if they find out about you two, they're going to kill you" Ethan says back
"Grayson doesn't even know that I don't want the guys to know. He's gonna kill me too Ethan." Holding back tears
Ethan gets closer to you, giving you a warm hug.
"It's gonna be fine, just tell them soon" he pats your back.
I nod.
You head out the door, going back into gray's room, wrapping your arms around his waist as he pecks your cheek.
"I love you" He says smiling pushing up his glasses.
"I love you more" you smile curling up into the crook of his neck thinking about what Ethan told you.
-THE NEXT DAY AT SCHOOL-
You start putting your books away in your locker before school ends.
Suddenly you feel a pair of arms behind you.
Grayson.
You look around the halls making sure no one sees you two.
You kiss him as you give him a warm hug back.
"Y/N?" You turn seeing...your friends all in one group.
"Hey guys, what's up?" You say nervously
"Ethan's little brother right?" They say getting up in his face.
"By 2 minutes to be exact" he says nervously
"Y/F/N So you two have been going out and you haven't told us, y/n?" She yells your face
Grayson looks at you in confusion. He thought that they knew we've been dating.
"So Grayson thought you told us about you two? Well she didn't dweeb" she yells Grayson
Grayson looks at you disappointed.
They quickly give a couple punches to Grayson.
You run up to them throwing them off him.
"Grayson are you ok" you help him up giving him a hug not wanting this to happen, this is what would happen if you told them.
Grayson pushed you away.
"Y/n I thought they knew."
"You didn't tell them?!" He says in despair
"Grayson, I did it to protect you, us. They were gonna hurt you if they knew about us" you say trying to explain it to him
"Is it because I'm not popular like you, is it because your embarrassed of me, or you don't want to be seen around me?" A tear drops from his eye as he yells
"Grayson you don't understand-" you say getting cut off by him.
"Bull y/n" he nods
"Grayson I'm so sorry I didn't mean for it to be like this" you cry out
"Crap, get out of my face" he says then running out of the school.
You run after him but couldn't catch up to him.
You sigh knowing this wasn't going to end up well at all.
