Geno's POV
The weeks went by and soon it became Halloween. Everyone was excited for the amazing festival and they made a disco after school. Everyone was expected to turn up with costumes but by the looks on everyone, the party was going to be a big one. Since the whole school knew that me and Dust had powers, the teachers made a compromise that they wouldn't tell anyone unless we helped them out. Of course me and Dust agreed to it because the idea of being a fugitive with magical powers and being hunted down is not something that we would like to deal with. So this is how we got stuck into helping decorate the hall and using our magic for spooky events.
"Wow. I really messed things up. This is going to be really boring trying to entertain the whole freaking school!" Dust exclaimed as he was nailing the banner on the wall.
"That is alright Dust, no hard feelings. I would have done it worse and killed Swapfell instead of threatening him!" I replied to a true statement. I would have definitely killed Swapfell under those circumstances.
"Maybe we should ask our friends for help during the disco? Then we don't have to worry about our energy being drained by holding up floating pumpkins!" Dust jumped from the ladder. I immediately freaked out and caught Dust mid air. The teachers around us were startled but soon got back to work.
"I think you should be careful..."
"True. But hey! That is a good idea huh?"
"Yeah. We should all meet up before the disco. We could probably ask them while we are going shopping for costumes," I said before Dust started squealing.
"We are going to buy costumes!? Oh boy I can't wait!!" Dust happily jumped around as I gave a quick chuckle. He was a great kid, just like my brothers when they were younger.
After several hours of preparing the hall, the teachers dismissed us both and we were both talking down the corridor when all our friends ran to us and showered us with questions.
"We all heard that you used your powers in front of the whole school!" Ink and Dream looked at us shockingly.
Error and Fresh both hugged me tightly.
"Geno brah. Please don't do that sort of unrad business," Fresh said.
"I have to agree with Fresh. Using your powers was unacceptable," Error said sternly
"Your not my big bros but I'll listen to you guys just this once!"
"Are you hurt? I heard that Swapfell attacked Dust!" Reaper looked at us in concern
"That was a stupid idea to use your powers in school but I must admit, the look on Swapfell's face was priceless!" Nightmare laughed it off as PJ and Cross looked at us worriedly.
"Don't worry! Me and Dust are alright but we made a deal with the teachers that we would help them in return of them not telling the police on us," I replied.
"We just spent 3 fucking hours to decorate the hall for the Halloween Party..." Dust said disappointedly. I quickly turned around to see Dust with his glasses off. Everyone knew it was Murder and started to talk to him.
"I know that feeling when you make a promise and your completely disappointed with the outcome..." Nightmare said.
"Yeah. I think so too. Also I overheard that Killer gave up being Swapfell's minion which was hilarious to watch!" Murder and Nightmare both chuckled. Thank god people now realise how stupid of a person Swapfell is.
"Hey guys! Since school is over, why don't we go to the mall and buy some costumes!" PJ exclaimed as everyone cheered and went to the mall.
