[CH - 24] Fighting for what you love

Dream and Laurens chatted to each other contently, both completely forgetting that there was a war currently going on. Error however, stood on guard, watching for any intruders.

He heard a shuffle in the bush and whipped his head around. The sound has disappeared and in front of him was a large bush. Error slowly walked up to it, carefully bringing out his hand, ready to bring out the strings.

Then he heard it

The clicking of a gun. But, the gun wasn't heard from the bush. It was heard from behind him. Error turned around to see another human pointing a gun at Dream. Just as he was about to pull the trigger, Error used his strings to grab onto Dream and pulled him out of the way. The gunshot echoed throughout the forest as Laurens looked at the new human with a look of astonishment and anger.

"ALE- "

"You" Error said angrily, walking up to the human. He pulled out the gun but it was easily disarmed by Error. He backed up slowly as Error came closer. Just as he was about to kill him, Laurens jumped in front of him.

"Wait! Don't kill him!! H-he's a friend..."

"How am I supposed to know that you both are going to backstab us?" Error said furiously. Dream untangled the strings and ran up to him.

"Ok. Gee Error. Calm down. Or else I'll call my brother,' Dream looked disappointedly at Error.

'DO NOT BRING THE DIPSHIT OF YOUR BROTHER!"

"What do you want from Laurens?" The human said, almost threateningly. The two skeletons turned to face him. He had long hair which was tied up in a small ponytail. He had several bruise marks in his face and he wore the same attire as Laurens.

"Well today is your lucky day! Because this golden positivity boy saved your friend before I killed him. So you'll need to thank him," Error said disappointedly. The human looked in confusion. Laurens whispered to the human about what had happened and why he was talking with them.

He looked in anger but held Laurens' hand, causing him to faintly blush.

"Fine. We are leaving," he said as he dragged Laurens. Error scoffed and teleported in front of them.

"And where do you think you're going?"

"Back to Base of course!" The human was getting more angry. First he loses Laurens, second two skeletons disarm him and third the skeleton is blocking their way.

"I don't think that may be possible. I mean, you know where we are now and I can only trust Laurens for now..." Dream said. The human had many dilemmas going throughout his mind. Soon after he gave up and sat down with Laurens.

"Fine,"

"So, what's your name! My name's Dream!"

"...."

"Don't be shy!"

"...Alexander,"

"That's a nice name!"

The three chatted amongst each other as Error stood on guard again. Alexander was slowly warming up to Dream but was still unsure of Error.

Suddenly a loud noise was heard by. All four of them looked up and stayed quiet. Error stood on guard as Dream took out his bow. Laurens quivered and was almost leaning on Alexander.

Soon a twig snapping was heard. At that second, Error used his strings and pulled the two humans into the air. A knife was plummeted at where the humans were. Error looked at the newcomers disappointedly while Dream was annoyed.
