[CH - 15] Enemy + Void

THIRD PERSON

Several weeks passed as the whole school found out about Geno's and Dust's powers. They both made a compromise with the teachers that they would help them around the school with their powers in return for not telling the police. Geno and Dust both politely agreed, as they both did not want this to get to serious. All their friends asked them worriedly after the incident spread around the school like fire, but all the response they got was, 'It's alright!'.

GENO'S POV

As I was walking down the corridor, I was suddenly pushed in to the lockers without warning. I looked up to see who was doing this with magic glaring in my left eye. As of always, it was the stupid prick, Swapfell.

"What in the fucking hell do you want now?"

"You pathetic mortal ruined my reputation and you are going to pay for that" Swapfell snarled at me as his eyes glowed an unnatural red. The word 'mortal' echoed throughout my head, causing me pain and dizziness. I didn't know what was going wrong. He just called me 'mortal' and my whole body feels as if I was going to faint. But not today. DEFINITELY not in front of HIM.

I balled my hands in to a fist as he grips on to my shoulder harder. Then my whole vision blacked out. All I could see was nothing.

SEVERAL HOURS LATER

I slowly opened my eyes after what felt like hours. I looked around the place I was and it was definitely not the school corridor. It was the infirmary and I was alone. I tried to go back in my memories to remember what just happened but I had no clue. I couldn't remember anything. I took a glance at the mini table that was beside me. It was filled with 'GET WELL SOON' cards and all sorts of chocolates and gifts. Right. I have no clue what just happened.

Suddenly the door bursts open as a bunch of angry/worried skeletons stood at the door.

"Geno?! You're awake!" Reaper shouted gladly as he jumped on me, giving me a bear hug.

"That was so dangerous of you to do that!" Ink, Dream and Blue looked at me worriedly before hugging me tightly as well.

"What...happened..." I asked quietly before the whole room went silent.

"What do you mean, Geno?" Reaper asked me softly.

"What happened? I have no memory on what just happened..."

"Does he not remember? That is so weird. How come we are the only ones to remember? The whole school completely forgot about it too!" Red exclaimed.

"Basically what happened was that you blasted Swapfell into a wall, reducing almost half of his health. The blast also destroyed part of the school itself so we have no school for about 2 weeks until they fix it," Nightmare explained.

"Then somehow, the whole place just, GLITCHED and no one has memories of the incident except us all," Cross added.

"Wow. That is a lot of information to take in and handle. But to take almost half of Swpafell's health is the one that surprises me the most..." I said while imaging how the fight went.

"That even surprises us too and we can't help but feel worried for you Geno." Dust said.

"We need to go to the heavens fast. All of us here are part of the prophecy and there is a great war ahead of us." I said as calmly as I could as everyone silently nodded.

"Let's go guys"
