[CH - 21] Challenges (Part 2)

Down in the Underworld, all five of them arrived at the castle. The castle itself was made of obsidian and the gold standing out from the darkness. The ground was a rocky red and all life was deceased. The air felt warm and suffocating of death and despair. This was not how Reaper and Geno thought of the Underworld.

They all came up to the enormous door which was closed for ages. No demon could enter it as the doors were locked, only opening in the presence of the God.

"You know that door looks locked and heavy to move," Reaper stated giving a death glare.

"Not for long sire," The leader replied before signalling the demon holding Reaper to bring him close to the door.

The door, knowing Reaper's presence, opened slowly making a loud breaking sound that could be heard everywhere. Everyone in the Underworld shot up after hearing the door open after a very long time. They all rushed to the castle to see Reaper and Geno held captive.

Reaper and Geno were amazed and surprised at the sight. All of the citizens bowed to Reaper, being the God of Death. The demon soon let go and bowed to him as well.

"Welcome sire," one of them said.
"Uhh Reaper, little help?" Geno said quietly, not disturbing the awkward silence.

"Now can you let go of my boyfriend?" Reaper looked at the demon who was holding Geno with a snarl. Not wanting to disobey the God, he let go of Geno immediately. Geno fell into Reaper's arm as he caught him just in time.

Everyone was astonished on how Geno was still alive and touching the God himself. A mere mortal. Not wanting to disturb the God, they did not question him and carried in with their business.

The three demons bowed before disappearing as well. Reaper and Geno just stared at each other, confused on what to do.

"We could have a look around your castle," Geno shrugged.

"Sure. We could maybe find a map or something to get out of this place," Reaper said while taking Geno's hand and bringing him into the castle.

Frisk, Cross, Nightmare, Dream, Ink, Error, Dust and Fresh arrived at the dark cave, with no luminosity going in or out.

"We're here guys," Frisk said.
"So this is the famous Hell," Cross responded disappointedly.

"You've seen nothing yet. Come on in. We should find Geno and Reaper and get out of there fast," Frisk said sternly. Everyone listened to them as they all walked into the cave.

Reaper's castle was the exact opposite of the castle in the heavens. Instead of white and gold, there was black and gold, which wept away the happiness and cheeriness from the place.

"If you do have to live in here, I'm will visit everyday to keep you company," Geno said as he just looked around the massive hallways.

"Aww thanks Gen!"

"I'm only doing this is because your castle is depressing as hell,"

"We're in hell~"

"Shut up. I did not mean that," Geno said flustered while Reaper smirked. They carried on walking down the corridor to arrive at a tall, deep red coloured door with several engravings all over it. Not having anything to do, they both decided to open the door.

Geno tried opening it but it didn't budge. Reaper went to help Geno but the door automatically opened. He smiled as Geno looked at him angrily as he couldn't get around anywhere without him.

To their amazement, there was a huge balcony which was right above lava. There was a river surrounding the whole castle. On the balcony, there was a telescope.

"Why do you need a telescope? There is no sunlight here," Geno pointed out.

"Why are you asking me?! I was literally here for the same amount as you did!" Reaper exclaimed.

"Well, it won't hurt to look in it," Geno replied as he walked up to the telescope. Immediately the telescope moved and pointed at a certain direction. Geno was surprised and took a look.

"Reaper!"

"What?!"

"They're here!"

"Who?!"

"The rest of the gang! There here to help us!" Geno exclaimed as he pulled Reaper. "We need to go get them before they get hurt!"

"On it. Let's see if I can teleport there," Reaper said as he clicked his fingers. They were immediately transported as all that was left was a sound of a shff.

"OMG IT IS SO FREAKING HOT IN HERE!" Cross shouted as the rest of the group groaned in annoyance (except Dream).

"Of course it's fucking hot. There is freaking lava all around us if you didn't see!" Nightmare snapped, obviously losing his temper.

"We need to find Reaper and Geno before we die of heatstroke," Ink responded.

"This is too diddly darn hot mah brah!" Fresh exclaimed as he held onto some rocks for support.

"Hopefully they're still alive," Error said as the group continued walking to the castle.

Timeskip

"Halt! What's your business here?!" A demon confronted the group as they passed.

"Uh saving our friends?" Ink said.

"You have no business with the God. Go back to your realm,"

"Excuse me? If you don't fucking move, I will strangle you. My brother is in here, so is his friend. If you still don't comply, well, Y O U ' R E  G O N N A  H A V E  A  B A D  T I M E," Error snarled as he summoned his strings. The poor demon, almost scared for his life, immediately let them past.

Not just moments after passing the demon, someone fell right in front of them. More of like, two people. Everyone jumped as the two suddenly appeared out of nowhere. Error came forward and looked in shock.

"Geno?! You're ok!" Error hugged Geno as he hugged back.
"Glad to see you are ok too, Error,"

"My head feels like I've been hit with a baseball bat," Reaper commented as he held onto his head.

"Come on! We need to get out of here before something goes wrong!" Frisk said as everyone got up as Ink helped Reaper up.

Down in the mortal world, chaos was brewing. The humans were thinking that monsters are growing more powerful. Arguments were going left and right. Trusting the Gods, humans were going to start a war.

The Battle Against Humans And Monsters
