여섯jungkook sighed as he looked at the wasted crowd. oh how much he hated clubs but when he knew that hoseok was going to have one of his dance battles, he couldn't dare miss them. also he was once the part of hoseok's group, so how could he miss his battles?
not to forget that hoseok had supported him at every point of his life. whatever jungkook was now, he owed it all to hoseok. the young boy was so torn between his two passions; singing and dancing. it was hoseok who helped him to find himself and pursue what he was more inclined to.
he waited as hoseok and his crew got ready. jungkook smiled proudly as he walked towards them to wish them luck. hugging hoseok tightly he told him that he was the best.
hoseok was never nervous but this was big. even though the club was small, there had been rumors that a certain company's authorities were there to find dancers. and that's what hoseok wanted, he wanted to be a choreographer. if he wanted to be an idol, he could've simply auditioned with jungkook but that was something out of his box. his one and only passion was dance. he did rap every now and then but it was only for fun, he wasn't as passionate for it.
jungkook shoved through the crowd to find a place near the square stage built in the middle of the big hall. and once the music started he cheered for hoseok's team and booed for the other, his old time coming back to him.
it was all going well until one member of the other group shoved hoseok. and at this point, hoseok decided to make their deadly move. the pyramid that they always made at the end of every fight, the one which always confirmed their win.. but not at that time. just before hoseok could climb at the top of it, someone's hand slipped and they all fell.
there was a moment of silence before everyone gasped and started murmuring.
jungkook looked at hoseok's panicked state and he couldn't take it. climbing to the stage, jungkook closed his eyes for a mere second, reading the beats before breaking out into full dancing. hoseok looked at him in shock but he was soon to come back to his senses and join him, the whole group joining soon after.
there was a part of hoseok's calf which ached like hell but at that moment he couldn't afford to care for it. while doing his moves, he looked at jungkook who was dancing with full focus. he then realized that his boy was no more a lost kid, he had grown up. grown up to a full responsible man.
he remembered jungkook being that naïve, stubborn kid but right then, he was totally different.
hoseok was a proud man then. winning or losing, didn't matter. he could try again but this.. in front of him was a total win for the night.
