     he looks at the mirror and admires his tuxedo. it was gorgeous and he loved it. he has always been a fan of formals. and today to a new place, a new environment, which he hates, he is being welcomed.

     he sighs, runs his hand through his hair and turns to see his maid bowing. "the party has started sir. they're waiting for you," she says, hands over one another at her front.

     "get the car ready. i'll be down in a minute," he smiles, a forced one.

     "car is already ready sir." she bows again when he nods.

     taehyung is walking back and forth, tensed and excited at the same time. he has handled the arrangements himself and is proud with the outcomes.

     they have all their published and translated books decorated on the shelf on one side and a welcome sign on the other side of the hall. and at the middle, below the chandelier is a multi storeyed cake.

     "stop it."

     taehyung turns to find jimin smiling at him. "stop what?"

     jimin points at his hands fiddling. "everything is perfect. he'll love it," he assures, touches taehyung's hand. it helps the younger. jimin's touches have always been the cure. they're soft and loving.

     "he's here!" a man comes rushing to taehyung and he gets ready to welcome their new manager.

     the moment the man is walking inside, authority is walking with him.

    jimin stares as the man laughs, winks and smiles brightly with everyone. he stares as everyone already admire him. but he doesn't. jimin has always been very good at reading people. he can read that man and he surely doesn't like the fake smile. the smile everyone thought to be friendly and genuine was indeed very false. he figures him out.

     he wonders why he can't figure jungkook out. the only person he hasn't been able to.

     or maybe he never tried. blinded by the beauty, he lost too soon.
