     "babe, can you book an uber? by the time i'll do the formalities," jungkook says, takes out his wallet and head to the hotel reception. jimin does as he's told, he books an uber and gets the confirmation.

     he looks at his boyfriend who's still talking with the receptionist. and he stares at his phone, debates on the thing he has been dreading to do. but his mind, hands and body is itching to do so. he wants to know. so he does, he googles jungkook's name. and there they are, the pictures.

      jungkook's face isn't visible, he's wearing a mask, while jimin's is. although the pictures are blur, jimin's face is recognizable. it's night time and jimin knows these pictures are from the night of the ice-cream incident. jungkook has one of his arm around jimin's shoulder while jimin laughs. it's a cute picture and honestly doesn't look very intimate. it's a friendly gesture and would be easy for them to lie about them being friends.

     jimin finds a link to a youtube video and he clicks on it, trying to find out more about people's opinion. the video contains the same pictures and nothing more. jimin scrolls down to the comment section and starts to read.

     is jungkook gay?

     maybe they're just friends. and even if

     jimin smiles, a slight pink painting over his cheeks. maybe people won't mind them being together, maybe they can go public with their relationship. but when he continues to look for more, all hope crash down.

     the ride to the airport is silent and jungkook is busy on his phone, while jimin quietly stares you the window. jimin is quiet all through the time they take their boarding passes, the security check and jungkook gives him the silence he wants, he understands the unsaid things jimin needs.

     "i'll miss japan," jimin finally says, when the plane has taken off. he makes sure both of their faces are in mask as leans onto jungkook's shoulder. jungkook sighs at the touch, comforted.

     "yeah, me too." he admits, caresses jimin's hair. "we can keep coming back."

     jimin hums, he feels drained and tired. he couldn't sleep last night. the fear of being exposed still running through his veins.

     "hey," jungkook whispers, his masked lips kissing the top of older's head. "we're fine. no one knows we're together, okay?"

     "they already have doubts," jimin says, looks away. "you'll have to tell them sometime. if not now then in a few years." he has another option in mind but he knows if he says that to jungkook, he'll get angry. and honestly jimin is too weak to suggest that, his selfish self coming into play.

     "jimin, i'm not allowed to date for the first year of my career. i'll come out as soon as the ban's lifted off. i'll come out and introduce you. we won't have to hide." jungkook promises with a soothing kiss at the top of jimin's head.

     he's about to break down. because he's not worried about hiding, he's worried about jungkook's dream. the boy is so young and living his dream. he wants to so so much more, and he's so capable, deserving of all the success coming his way. jimin simply nods, close to tearing up, he looks away, puts his head one the plane window and looks at the clouds.

     jungkook sighs, he's pretending to not know older's worries but he knows, he knows all too well but he can't bring himself to admit it. his dreams are important for him but so is jimin. he hopes get through this without losing any one of them.
