서른셋

     the cold wind makes him shiver and he looks at his feet. it wasn't going like he wanted to. jungkook was not acting like himself and jimin wanted to be away.

     so now he is sitting at the back door of the said club and looking at people either smoke or kiss. the smell is disgusting and jimin wants to go back home. but jungkook is not sober and somehow jimin doesn't want taehyung to know about the failure of a date.

     "kid?"

     jimin hears and looks at the man step out the back door, a cigarette between his fingers. jimin stares until yoongi comes and sits beside him. "what a surprise," he says, dull and focuses on how he lights up his cigarette.

     "what are you doing here?" he finally asks when jimin does nothing but stares. "your date ditched you again?"

     "no. he's just.. not sober." jimin looks at the smoke that comes out of yoongi's mouth.

     "hm, so he did ditch you," yoongi laughs, smoke flowing out of his nostrils and mouth.

     "are you trying to make me feel small or something?" jimin frowns, looks away. he fiddles with his show laces.

     yoongi tilts his head, looks at jimin before speaking, "no, just trying to tell you that he is... not worth you." yoongi pauses, furrows. "well, i shouldn't judge but if he's out there ditching a man as beautiful as you, he must be mad or simply ungrateful of what he's got."

     jimin opens his mouth, waits for something to come through, closes it, repeats. and when he finds yoongi smirk, he stands up, flabbergasted and thoughts blur.

     before yoongi can even say something, jimin is already walking inside the club. he wants to see jungkook and that's all he wants.

     he smiles as soon as he spots the younger talking to someone, and rushes to him. "jungkook," he says lowly, stands behind him.

     jungkook startles and turns around and jimin sees the man he was talking to.

     "j-jackson?"
