열일곱jungkook was more than pissed. he had started to think that he had grown up but yet again he acted like a fucking teenager.
the moment he reached his house, he found hoseok waiting for him outside along with a couple more guys from his dance group. he frowned when he saw a plaster on hoseok's leg.
"what happened hyung?" jungkook asked after he had parked his bike and was walking towards him.
"you're drunk? you know you're not allowed to," hoseok stood up with the help of his friends. jungkook looked sober enough but his breath stink.
"that's not the point right now. what happened to your leg?" jungkook asked seriously, observing hoseok. But before he could answer he remembered the pain hoseok was going through after that dance battle. "is this because of that fall?"
"uh yeah. i got it plastered though so no worries," hoseok smiled but it was unnecessary and jungkook knew something was wrong.
"you're hiding something."
"no-"
"he got it plastered today," jackson interrupted. "he should've done it the same day and now, it got worse. it's a hairline."
"a hairline?" jungkook yelled. "hyung, i told you to.. argh fuck." jungkook blamed himself for obeying hoseok. hoseok had told him to drop him to his house and said that he'll call jackson to go for the check up since jungkook had dance practice. "you lied." jungkook frowned at him.
"i'm sorry, i was scared about this happening and it did." hoseok looked away. he was in fault, he knew jungkook hated lying and liars.
"let's get inside first," jungkook said, unlocking at door. everyone followed silently because when jungkook is pissed, he is pissed badly and irritating him at that point is not a wise decision.
"why did you lie?" jungkook deadpanned, sitting crossed legged in front of the three people.
"i thought it was a normal pain, also a part of me was scared that it wasn't. so i was in denial but it got worse today morning. i called jackson and jaebum as soon as i knew i couldn't beat it anymore." hoseok fiddled with his fingers.
jungkook sighed heavily and nodded. "it's okay but don't," he paused emphasizing and pointing at hoseok. "don't ever lie to me again. you know i hate it."
"i won't. i'm sorry." hoseok looked up with a forced smile.
"c'mon we should sleep now. i'll take out those extra mattresses," jungkook said as he stood up.
"but we were here to talk about something important," jaebum spoke up.
"what is it?" jungkook frowned as he turned back, facing them.
"we need your new neighbor."
