2nd Mightiest discliple

We bring DJ up to speed on the situation. It doesn't look like he believes me but that doesn't matter because he will soon enough. One thing I learned from my fight with Mark is that while I have power I don't know much about fighting. It could be that my powers are new and, compared to his, few but I need to cover all my bases....or I will die painfully. I step through the portal knowing exactly where I want to be and thankfully I reach my destination. I walk around until I reach the dojo I was looking for. I knock on the door and am greeted by a giant man with long blonde hair. He is very intimidating and the amount of power he has makes the very air vibrate like its shaking with fear.

I fall to my knees and beg Hayato Fūrinji to teach me "Please teach me how to fight! I need to know to help my friends! Please!" I hope this works. "No." he says and I freeze. "Please!" I say again and he just picks me up and throws me like im a sack of potatoes. I go through the gate again and knock on the door and he just throws me again. I do this repeatedly throughout the day and the night. Around three in the morning I begin to get tired and fall asleep on the porch. I open my eyes and try to adjust to the sudden brightness of the sun. Standing over me is a man with a bowler hat and a mustache. "Ohayou.." I yawn and look around for Hayato. I see him talking to Kenichi.

I get up and start to move toward him but my path is blocked by the man I now recognize as Kensei Ma. "Excuse me I need to speak to him" I say nodding toward Hayato "About training me". I begin to move but he blocks me. We do this for several minutes before I try to feint left and as soon as he takes a step to the left I dart to the right but I only get one step before he is in front of me again. He begins to laugh "One thing you have is brains and determination. I will train you" he says and I beam. "Really? Arigato-gozaimszu!" I reply. Thus my training in Chinese Martial Arts began. ' knew it would be hard but I didn't know it would be this hard' I groan to myself as I try to catch my breathe.

"Your doing good for a newbie" Kensei remarks "You deserve a reward for all your hard training" I look at him quizzically and recognize that face its the face of someone who has a pervy idea. 'I am so in' I think standing back up and stretching. Its dark out when Kensei wakes me up "shh" he says pointing a finger against his lips. He motions for me to follow and I do. We sneak up to some bushes and he motions for me to be quite again. I nod and we look through the bushes. On the other side Miu and Shigure bath in a hot spring. After a few minutes I walk away from Kensei and stealthily move forward. I see a tree and begin to move up it trying to not make a noise. Looking down I see Kensei looking up at me in surprise and admirably.

I shift to get more comfortable and the leaves shake a bit. Shigure sends some shurikan toward my tree and I move to the opposite side of the tree holding on to the bark. I look toward Kensei and motion for us to leave. He nods and begins to move. I climb down the tree slowly and quietly to avoid any further attempt at my life. I see the dojo when I sense someone coming at from behind. I duck to the side just in time. I double back to he hot spring then go another route. I see Mui and Shigure guarding the dojo. I begin walking around the dojo looking for a opening but because of the angle I can't find an opening. Wait! There is a tiny space where they both cant see me and its just below a window!

This seems too easy... I walk the perimeter again and see that it is indeed the only opening. Looking around I grab in rock I can see. Once I have a good amount I fling them all at once. I throw them behind me, in front of me, and on either side of me in order to confuse them. They look to where each rock lands and I know that I wont be long before they figure out that it is a trick. I bolt to the window keeping to the shadows and watching them. I open the window and throw another rock at the door which they left to search the area. I jump in and close the window sneaking into my room. I continue to watch my surrounding with my eyes and the rest of my senses. I open my door and sneak into my bed. 'I made it' I sigh and fall back asleep.

I wake up and the first thing that I see are black pantsu above me. "Um... hello?" I say to the mysterious owner of the pantsu. The person moves backwards and I can see the persons face. I see it's Shigure and she looks amused yet pissed. "That's not the reaction I expected especially from someone who peeked on me last night" she says. "I don't know what your talking about unless I sleep walked around the place and you saw me" I deny "Besides at this point of my life I think I'm getting used to the sight of female nudity" I stretch and smile up at her. "Oh I meant to ask can you teach me how to use a weapon?" I ask

She raises her eyebrows "Oh...?" she thinks for a moment and finally says "I'll teach you if you promise not to peak again....without asking" she says. "I promise.... and I didn't peak" I say winking then I laugh. She joins me then says "After your training with Kensei meet me at the weapons room" she says and I nod. I get ready then meet Kensei at our training grounds. "Devin what happened to you?" he asks I then explain everything that happened and what happened this morning. His face turn into one of sorrow "Shigure is going to train you when she caught you peaking... it was nice knowing you" he says and begins to cry. 

"Don't worry I will survive... I survived far worse" I begin to laugh and Kensei looks at me in surprise. We then begin our training several hours later I meet Shigure at the weapons room. We greet each other and then she says "When you go in choose a weapon that feels right to you" I nod and she opens the door. "Wow" I exclaim in awe at the sheer amount of weapons in the room. I look around the room looking for something that is for me. I stop and feel something drawing me. I walk toward the source and see a katana sheathed on a grate of grenades. I pick it and bring it back to the middle of the room. Shigure sees me and looks at what I have. In the corner of my eye I see her try to stop me as I unsheathe the katana. I finish drawing it before she gets to me and she jumps back. I look at her wondering why she is acting this way.

"How...how...?"is all  she can get out. Looking at the blade I see it has an inscription. I can barely make it out from the dust. It was a weak before not only could I rea it but before I knew why Shigure was acting so strange.
