Anime Harem Emperor

People begin to rush app around me while I walk debating on what to do. I continue to walk  around a child falls and his mother is pushed forward through the crowd. "Here" I say grabbing his sides and lifting under his armpits and resting him on the back of my neck. I push forward through the crowd. "Excuse trying to return child to his mother here!" After sometime and effort I reach the child's mother.

I lift the boy and put him in his mother's arms. "You hold on tight to your mother. It's important that you stay together and get to safety. Do you understand?" He nods and I give him a high five. I blend into the crowd and soon I am left alone outside a shop.  "When exactly am I anyways?" I grumble to myself. "I hope I'm not at the very beginning"  at that moment a black mass appears in the sky. I sigh and begin to walk toward it.

If I remember correctly there is a ship above me watching the city. I look up into the sky and wave at it location above the shop. I continue towards the location of the spatial quake. After walking for thirty minutes I finally reach the site and stop at the site. I look down into the giant hole and see Spirit Touka with Shido. 'Motherf*cker!" I scream internally. I stomp the perimeter of the hole in fury. I'm so angry that I don't see a rock in my path until I trip over it and fall into the hole.

I hit several rocks on my way down and I'm unable to stop because the slope is so bad. I manage to stay conscious until I hit my head on the biggest rock yet. I'm knocked clean out. I wake up in some time of nurses office. I rub my aching head and try to remember where I am. After a moment it comes back to me and I sigh. As I'm trying to decide on whether to walk out or not the door opens.

In comes a women who looks like she hasn't slept for months. She has white hair, she wears a lab uniform, and looks kind of defeated. Beside her is a red haired loli. "Hey my name's Devin it's nice to meet you both" I say right off the bat. The loli looks a little surprised but the white haired women,s expression doesn't change.

"Do you know where you are?" Loli asks. I scratch my head and look around "some kind of infirmary?" I ask shrugging my shoulders. "How did you know about the ship?" She asks and I just look at her waiting for her to clarify. "During the space quake you looked up at where the ship was smiling and waved... how did you know where it was? Who do you work for?" She asks getting irritated.

"Currently? I'm unemployed but as for how I knew where the ship was..." I smile "you wouldn't believe me even if I told you". I always wanted to say that and I'm glad I finally get a chance to say it in the best situation possible. She grabs my shirt "Do you think this is a game? Do you think this is funny?" She demands going from irritated to pissed. I look her in the eyes "I know this is not a joke and the reason I'm here is for something far more important than what you got going on here" I say grabbing her hand and pulling it away from my shirt.

She sees the gravity in my eyes and backs off "You still have a lot of questions to answer" she replies. "Here's what you need to know" I start "I did not come here to interfere I am merely an observer and your plan for your adoptive brother will work.... very well" I add. Her eyes widen "How did you know about my brother? How did you know about my plan? I didn't even speak or write the plan down yet?!" she fires question after question. I stop her "Look I cant tell you anything more because it will endanger everyone. All I need is to observe a spirits transformation and Shido's regenerative ability and I will go".

"No... no I think it would be safer if you stayed here" she says "Keep an eye on him" she commands the white haired woman and walks out. The white haired women sits down in a chair and faces me. "What time is it?" I ask and she looks at her watch "About 4:30" she replies. "And how long was I out?" I ask. "About a day" she replies. "So it's close to the time that I can witness what I need to" I accidentally say out loud.

I put a finger to my forehead and try to find the ki of a spirit. I sit like that for two hours before I feel the massive explosion of ki that I was waiting for. I instant transmission myself to the where the ki is located. I see Shido go down blood coming out of his back and Touka calling his name. Touka holds Shido in her arms, crying. She looks at where the shot came from and sees Origami.

"How dare you! How dare you hurt Shido!" She yells and rushes at her. I take my time from behind the trees and wait. Finally I see Shido's ability activate and him come back from the dead. One down, one to go. What spirit power should I take?

After a moment of thinking I decide to wait and see. I'm going to be here for awhile might as well get comfortable.
