Before she can say anything I start in "What's your name? What are you a goddess of? Who are you?" I ask. "Where is this coming from?" She asks in return. "Someone made me aware of how little I know about you" I answer her. She tilts her head slightly in thought. "My name is Toyotama-hime and I'm a Goddess of reincarnation" she says shaking my hands off her.
"So you are a Japanese Goddess?" I ask and she nods. "Let me see if I can confirm that" I say and draw out my sword. Her eyes widen in shock at the sight of the blade confirming her claim. Izanagis response further confirms it Hello Toyotama. She reaches for the sword but I pull it out of her reach. "Do you know who is in that blade?" She asks shocked.
"Izanagi-no-Mikoto, god of creation and life" I reply putting the blade back in its sheath. "Yes! The cursed god Izanagi!" She exclaims. "Cursed?" I ask. Long ago I tried to rescue my wife from the land of the dead but found her mind and body destroyed and corrupted by the land of the dead. In the end she tried to drag me down with her but I escaped and bathed in a lake as a form of therapy. From that bath I created several gods and goddesses. I am called cursed because my shameful behavior was spread and the other gods and goddesses forced me into this blade but they couldn't completely bind my powers. After all I was the king of the gods. He adds that last part in a smug voice.
"That true?" I ask Hime. "Yes it's true his behavior was most disgraceful and warranted severe consequences. I slap her across her cheek and she takes a step back in shock. "What? Why did you do that?" She asks in surprise. "Because what you and the other Gods and Goddesses did was completely unwarranted! Shameful behavior does not mean you should trap someone in a blade for all eternity!" I exclaim. Thank you Izanagi says "Shut up! Your not free from this either! You should have tried harder to get her to come back!" I growl.
The door bursts open and my friends see me gripping Hime's arm and my sword. I take a deep breadth and throw the Goddess out of my room "think about what you did and wrong it was" I say before slamming the door. I fall back on my bed and scream into my pillow in anger and frustration. 'I can't worry about this now I have a job to do' I think and leave into another world.
