From abnegation to dauntless (FATD) || ✓ Completed

Chapter 1

AN/So The story starts, when Tobias and Tris meets(she's Beatrice before they go to dauntless). Again, I dont own Divergent.

 Tris POV

I wake up to my brother, Caleb, coming to my room.
"Beatrice, are you up?" he whisper-yells.
"Yes I'm up. What is it?" I ask him, getting my head off the pillow and brush my hair off my face. 
"It's the first day of school!" he says exitedly. He's kind of a Knows.
"Okay, could you leave my room please, so I can change my clothes?" I ask him, forcing myself up from the surprisingly comfortable bed. 
"Oh, right. Of course", he stutters as he blushes and leaves the room, closing the door behind him.
I put on a gray T-shirt, grey pants and loose gray jacket, my everyday outfit.I go downstairs and am greeted by my mom and dad.
"Good morning Beatrice."
"Good morning dad, mom." I greet them back.
I make myself some oatmeal and eat it quickly.
I then put my shoes on, and with goodbye's leave the house and start walking to school. Caleb left already, such a nerd.

Me and Caleb are both 14 years old, even though he is a couple of months older.
The walk to school isn't that long. I walk at the middle of the road and quickly reach the building complex. I see Caleb there, talking to Robert and Susan Black, our neighbours. I walk over to them and act like I care about what they're talking about. It's hard to act selfless today. We talk for a while and head to first class. On the way there I run into someone and fall.
"Oh I'm so sorry!" he says and sticks out his arm to help me up. I let himm pull me up and study him. 
He has stormy blue eyes, a spare upper lip and full lower lip, and ears that stick out just little bit. His body seems lean, but it's hard to tell from the baggy Abnegation clothes. But he is very tall. "It's okay" I answer. "It was my fault, I wasn't looking where I was going", I say truthfully. He nods and leaves, probably to his class.
Oh shoot. I catch up to Caleb, Susan and Robert and we go to class.
For the rest of the day I keep thinking about those eyes...

Tobias POV

I walk stiffly around school, trying to find my class. I'm still sore from yesterday's beating. After mom left it has gotten worse, but yesterday was surprisingly good.
I'm woken from my thoughts when I run into someone and she falls to the ground. She has blue-gray eyes, a slightly long nose and dirty blonde hair that's in two braids. She's pretty short.
"Oh I'm so sorry!" I say quickly and stick my arm out to help her up. She looks me up and down as to study me. She has Abnegation clothes, like me. 
"It's okay, it was my fault. I wasn't looking where I was going", she tells me. I nod and leave, gotta get to class. 
For the rest of the day I keep thinking about those blue eyes.

AN as I edit this in 2018/exactly a year ago I was panicking and publishing my first chapter of fanfiction ever. Now here it is, the first chapter, edited. I'm not changing the plot I have going on here at least yet, but I'm editing these because my writing has improved over the year. And, I quite like how they meet, so no reason to change it. Anyway, if you're reading this again, thank you so much. And if this is the first time you read this chapter, thank you for reading my story <4
