Tris POV
Beep beep beep
I wake up to the annoying sound of my alarm clock. I open my eyes and finally do something I've been wanting to do a while now. I grab the stupid alarm clock and throw to the wall with all my power. The impact of the hit makes a loud sound and Tobias jolts awake. "What who where?!" I try to stiffle a laugh, but fail miserably. Soon I'm full out laughing. "What made that sound?" Tobias asks me once I stop laughing. "Oh, we need a new alarm clock." I say with a straight face and get up. "What?" I hear him ask confused. I just point at the broken alarm clock on the ground. "What did you do?" he asks, sounding almost bored. I turn around with a croocked smile on my face. "I may or may not have thrown it at the wall 'cuz it woke me up." I answer and slam the door to the bathroom shut and lock it. I can hear him chuckle outside the door. I laugh a little my self and turn on the shower. We have initiation today and I didn't shower yesterday. I take my clothes off and step under the warm water. I let it relax me and wash away the past few days. I quickly wash my hair and skin, then turn off the water and step out of the shower, taking my towel off the rack as I do so. I quickly dry myself and wrsp the towel around me. Oh s*it, I forgot my clothes. I carefully unlock the bathroom door and open it. I don't see Tobias, so I step into the room. I quickly walk to the door and lock it, so he can't come in, and walk to my wardrobe. I pick a simple outfit, a black leather tank top and black ripped skinny jeans. I blow dry my long dirty blonde hair, and once it's dry, I notice it reaches already my butt. I should really cut it. I cuickly braid it on a dutch braid that starts from the left of my head, and it comes to a long braid to my right sholder. I aply some mascara and eyeliner to make my eyes pop. I then aply some lip balm. I take a look in my fullbody mirror and nod my head. I look okey. I walk out of the bedroom, and hear the shower running. Yeah, we got two showers. I see a chocolate muffin and some coffe on the tabe, with a note saying 'to Tris'. I smile. My somach crumbles and I quickly grab the muffin and take a bite. The moist chocolate and the icing taste so good, that I close my eyes and savor it. "You need a moment alone with your muffin?" Tobias's joke brings me back to reality. I roll my eyes. "No, you off all people should know love towards food." I shoot back. He raises his hands up in mock defence, as I take a sip of my coffee. I glanze over to the clock and it says 6.55.I almost spit my coffee out. "S--t, we gotta go!" I exclaim. I grab my muffin and coffee and run out of the door Tobias hot on my heels. We run to the training room and I look at the clock that's on the wall. It says 6.59. Phew, we made it. Just then the clock turns to 7.00 and the initiates roll in. We're starting fights today, so I go pick up punching bags while Tobias tells the initiates what we're doing today. I hear someone ask "Where's Clara?" It sounds alot like Alice. I stiffen a bit, but then I relax, because since she asked that Clara can't be here. "She was kicked out of Dauntless. Trying to kill a progidy has that effect on people." I hear Tobias's stern voice say. I smile to myself as I pick up a punching bag. I go back to the training room when Tobias finishes explaining. I hang the punching bag up and turn to the initiates. "So before lunch we're gonna practice some punches and combat techniques. After lunch will be your first fights." I tell them and Tobias starts demonstrating some punches, first to the air, then to the punching bag. "Now you try." He says and walks over to me. "So, how do you think we should pair up the fights?" he asks me. I glance over to the initiates to see how they're doing. "I think Matt and Jeff would do a pretty even pairing." I nod. "I think we should also pair up Ravenna and Vici. Then Alice and Shannon, Laila gets a day off." I continue. "Sounds good."
Time lapse
"Okay, first fight, Matt and Jeff!" I yell and Jeff and Matt slowly walk to the ring. I see concern in Vici's eyes and Matt giving her a reassuring smile before stepping into he ring. "We went over this before lunch, you win when the other can't continue or gives up." Tobias continues. "Well, go on, fight!" I boom and they get into positions. I can see a look determine in Matt's eyes as he throws a punch at Jeff. Jeff barely moves out of the way. He punches Matt back in the square nose and it starts bleeding. From the corner of my eye I see Vici clutching Shannon's arm, their good friends. Vici must really care about Matt. Speaking of Matt, he kicks Jeff to his side and Jeff falls down. Before Matt can pin him down he gets up and knees Matt in the gut. Matt bends over and I can see pain in his eyes. He's not giving up though. He directs a punch to the side off Jeff's jaw. As Matt's fist connects with Jeff's jaw he is knocked out. Matt won. His nose is still bleeding badly, it might be broken. Tobias goes to sircle Matt's name and I go over to Matt and Jeff. "Can you help me pick him up?" I ask him pointing at Jeff who is starting to gain conciusness. "Sure" together we help him up. We steady him so he can stand. "Hey Vici, can you help Matt to take Jeff to the infirmary and come back then?" I yell over to her. "Sure thing!" she replies and runs over. I'm such a matchmaker, aren't I? "So, where's the infirmary?" Vici asks. "You'll find it." I say and walk off. If they can't find it, they'll have more time together. With Jeff of course.
