Chapter 11

Tris POV

I help the erudite girl out of the net.
"What's your name?" I ask her.
She thinks for a while and then says: "Vici" "Four, you wanna make the announcement?"
He smirks and yells, "First jumper, Vici!" All the dauntless behind us cheer. She lets out a relieved laugh.

Black and white, a candor. Great, another smart-mouth. Although my best friend is a former candor. So I'll keep an open mind. I help the guy out of the net and ask: "What's your name?"
"Jeffery, what's yours?" he says with a cocky smirk on his face.
I just roll my eyes and yell: "Jeffery!" All the dauntless cheer, but I don't bother. I walk back to Toby when another blob of black and white hits the net. This time Toby helps her out.
"What's your name?" Tobias asks her. Eventhough she hasn't done anything and neither has he, I feel a bang of jealousy in my chest.
"Mrs. Whatever your last name is!" she answers and I glentch my fists. Before I know it Uriah is next to me calming me down.
"Your real name?"
"Clara."
Clara has long platinum blonde hair and she's way prettier than me. As she walks past to me she flashes me a fake smile and first points at her eyes then my eyes, signaling I'm watching you. I just snort and look away. Uriah and Lauren can get the rest.

"Okay, dauntless borns with Uriah and Lauren, transfers stay with us!" Toby yells. Once the DB:s are gone, there are 8 transfers, most of them are from erudite, 2 from candor and one amity. No abnegation. No surprise.
"I'm Six, this is Four. We're gonna be your instructors", I say. I hear a candor laugh.
"Four and Six like the numbers?"
I walk up to her. I put my face close to hers "What's your name?" I ask in my scary instructor voice. Her face goes paler.
"Clara", she says trying to sound confident. "Listen Clara, if I wanted to listen candor smart-mouths, I would have joined their faction. The first lesson you learn from me, is to keep your mouth shut. Got it?" I ask her just like Toby did last year with Christina. She nods and and I walk back to Toby. He smirks and whispers "Good job" I smirk back. "Any questions?" I ask.  "Yeah, Six are you single?" the candor boy, Jeff I think, asks. I sense Tobias stiffen a little but he tries to relax. I smirk a little and say "No I'm a freaking plural! And I also have a boyfriend." Tobias chuckles and the candor looks a bit embarrassed. "Any more questions?" Toby asks. This time the candor girl Clara - I already hate her for flirting with my Toby - speaks up "How bout you Four, could you date an initiate?" Now its my time to get mad. It takes everything in my power not to attack her. "Maybe, if I didn't have an amazing girlfriend whom I love very much, now any questions that don't have to do with dating?" No one asks anything, so we give them the tour. 

When we reach the dormitories we tell them to come to the cafeteria. "Where's the cafeteria?" I hear Matt, an erudite transfer, yells at us when we walk away. I turn around smirking "I guess you'll figure it out!" Once we're out of their view Toby gently pushes me against the wall from my waist. I raise my hands around his neck and to his hair. "I've been waiting the whole day tom do this." he says and kisses me with passion. I kiss back with just as much passion. After a minute we pull back and continue walking towards the cafeteria hand in hand.

We arrive to the cafeteria and I spot the gang at one table. "Can you get me a piece of Dauntless cake?" I ask with puppy dog eyes. "Hhh, fine, just one piece!" he says pointing at me, already walking towards the line. I smile and walk up to the gang. "Hey guys!" I say sitting down next to Uriah. "Hey Tris! Where's Four?" Chris asks. "Getting me Dauntless cake." I answer grinning. Chris laughs and shakes her head "You, ms. Prior, are misusing the privilege of having a boyfriend" she fake scolds me. I just laugh. Then Toby sits down next to me and slides me a piece of Dauntless cake. "Thank you honey" I say in a sweet voice and kiss him on the cheek. "You're welcome babe" he says and kisses my temple. I look up to the others and see them smiling at us. "What are smiling about?!" I snap at them. They just laugh and continue eating. I stuff the whole piece of cake in my mouth and swallow. They all start laughing again and I pout until I see the transfers enter the cafeteria. They seem so lost. "How are the initiates?" Shauna asks. I roll my eyes and say "I already hate one of them "Who?" she asks confused. "Clara" I say pointing at her. They sit down at the other end of our table. I roll my eyes and sneak pieces of Tobys cake when his not looking. "So I was thinking a Candor or Dauntless party with the initiates. Me and Lauren can tell the Dauntless borns, you guys tell the transfers." Uriah says excitedly. He has that sparkle in his eye and his famous goofy smile on. "Okay, cool!" I say. "Great! 5 pm at my place?" he asks. We all nod. Then Toby gets up. "Transfers, follow me!" Time for training.
