"Ashton," I whisper to him. The ceremony has started. The couple is already on the small altar and they're in the part where they're exchanging vows. Ashton turns to me and raises his eyebrow. "I'm hungry."
He laughs. "Are you serious?"
I glare at him. "Does this face look like joking to you?"
He waves me off. "Fine, okay. What do you want me to do? We can't get food yet because it will be served later on the reception."
I sigh. "I know. I'm just really hungry. I haven't eaten my lunch."
"You should eat on time." He shakes his head disapprovingly. "Luke will be mad about this."
I raise my eyebrow in confusion. "What do you mean?"
With the mention of Luke's name, I realize how much I miss that guy. Before, I'll do anything just to get rid of him but now, I don't know that it is possible to miss a guy who's annoying the shit out of you all the time. Well basically, he's not pissing me off anymore. Honestly, I always want to be around him. Even if we'll eventually just end up fighting when the two of us are left alone, I still want to be with him.
He has this something in his attitude that even though I know he's not-so-gentleman kind of guy, I still want him to be around. You know that feeling that even no one between the two of you is talking, complete silence surrounding the two of you, your day is still complete and I used to think that love and hate relationship isn't possible. Like, how can you love a person who you hate in the same time?
I mean, I don't love Luke, okay. I just like him, but it's still the same thing. How can you like a person who, in the same time, hate a lot? That's impossible. Well, impossible until I met Luke.
"Care." Ashton snaps his fingers in front of my face, bringing me back to reality. "Still with me?"
I blink a few times, slightly taken aback. "Yes, yes. I'm sorry. What were you saying again?"
He chuckles. "I said that Luke told the three of us to look after you."
"Look after me?" I ask. "What am I? A child? Don't listen to him."
"Yes, you are. Especially if I still need to remind you to eat your meals in time." He tries to pull a serious face. As if he's someone like my dad or my brother which is cute to be honest.
I playfully punch his arm, giggling. "Stop it, Ashton."
"I'll stop when you stop." He says, making me completely confuse.
"Stop in what?" I ask.
He stares at me and smiles. "Stop being beautiful which I know will never happen."
I awkwardly scratch my arm because I don't know what else to do. He's staring at me, waiting for my response with a wide grin on his face. I wish I could just say to him to stop being so attractive, but I don't have the courage he has.
"That's so out of the topic." I murmur.
He giggles as he runs a hand through his luscious curly hair. "That's my specialty."

"Hey."
I literally jump in my place as I hold the key of my locker tightly. I turn my head to the tall figure standing beside me, leaning on Sam's locker. He has this wide grin plastered on his face and I don't know why he's grinning like that because it's a school day.
"Michael." I sigh as I close my locker. "What do you want?"
"Um." He looks unsure about what he's going to say. "You want to hang out after school?"
