One year after.
"This is really hard. Ashton, do it. You have long fingers." Michael says as he hands Ashton his phone.
It has been a year after and finally we graduated high school. Senior year has been pretty much the best and in the same time, the worst year for all of us. Michael almost got kicked out. Ashton and Mia broke up, but they got back together after a few weeks. Luke and I got in a huge fight. Calum and Sam have been into a car accident but no major injuries.
Back to the present, we're trying to take a graduation selfie but since there are eight of us, it's a little hard. Yes, there are eight of us because one good thing that happened this year was Michael finally found his girl. They've been dating since the start of the school year and at first, we all thought she was just one of Michael's girls, but then things got pretty serious between the two of them.
"Okay, everybody smile." Ashton says as he clicks the button of Michael's phone.
After the photo, we all get on our own little worlds. This normally happens since Michael starts dating Katy. Before, I don't know why, but it was like already part of our senses that we should avoid going in our own worlds with our boyfriends or girlfriends if Michael was around because we don't want him to feel left out. Now that he finally has someone to go into that little world, we're very happy.
Luke wraps his arms around my waist, pulling me closer to him. For the whole year, I only grew an inch while Luke grew like two inches I guess. All I know is that he became taller, but since I'm wearing heels right now, I'm not having any trouble on looking straight on his eyes.
"Congratulations." He mumbles, smiling like an idiot to me.
"Congratulations." I repeat, wrapping my arms around his neck.
I pull him down so our lips can touch. Even if I kissed him bazillion times already for the past year, every kiss still feels like the first time. I still feel those butterflies and I'm still flattered at the fact that Luke's my boyfriend.
"You look beautiful." He says before placing his lips on my forehead.
I chuckle. "You always say that even if I'm naked."
"Because you always look beautiful," He whispers, his lips still on my forehead. "I can't wait to discuss with you the things we will do in college. Either if we will stay in the university's dorm or we will rent an apartment and live together. I can't wait to discuss with you our future."
I pull away from him and look at his eyes. "Too early to talk about our future."
That's a joke, I didn't mean that. Of course, I have those nights when I can't sleep because I can't help but to think my future with Luke. With all the plans and all the things I want to do someday, he's there. He's involved. He's always part of my plans and I know he knows I'm joking because if there is someone who can't stop talking once we're already discussing our plans, it's me.
"I don't mind living either in an apartment or in a dorm, either way will do." He smiles. He kisses my forehead very quickly that I didn't even feel it. "Home is where you are."
"Excuse me." A guy with a camera interrupts us from our little moment. "I'm gonna take a video of you two and just say anything. About graduation, what does it feel, about you two, anything."
He gives us a thumbs up to tell us that the we're now being recorded. I actually don't know what to say since all I can feel is that I'm really happy, nothing else, but Luke places his arm around me and shows his signature smile.
"Can I talk about my girlfriend instead?" He asks, chuckling. The guy nods. I glance at him, seeing if he's serious. Well, he is. He will definitely talk about me and I don't know what to feel about it. "She's so beautiful, isn't she? I'm winning so hard in life, man. Like, every time I stare at her I'm always like, 'Damn. I'm so lucky.'."
