The next day, I have no plans for the whole Sunday so I just decide to stay at home. Liam is out again. I really don't know where he's going recently, but I bet he had been in the beach all the time since he loves beaches. It's dad's day off today and I'm surprised he's not sleeping, but he's out with mom. I think they're having a date which makes me flinch.
I flip through channels lazily as I sit on the couch in the living room. I already had my breakfast and that's the only plan in my head - to have breakfast then I don't know what to do next. I want to call Luke and ask him to come over but since we were out late last night, I think he's still sleeping. Although he won't hesitate to come over if I ask him to, it's just I still want him to get a good rest especially it's Monday tomorrow.
"Oh fuck," I mutter as I throw the remote to my side, finally giving up on finding a good show to watch.
Then suddenly the doorbell rings. Groaning, I pull myself up from the couch and make my way towards the door. I bet it's just Liam, but I'm wondering why he didn't just go inside since like, duh, this is his house too.
As I open the door, ready to yell at my brother how he made me stand up when he can just enter, my mouth keeps shut. It's Michael. He's shifting on his feet back and forth with his hands shove in his pockets. He bites his bottom lip as he stares at me, waiting for me to say something.
"What's up?" I ask, opening the door wider to let him in.
"I'm bored," He answers, entering the house. I shut the door closed and follow him back to the couch. He immediately props up his feet up on the coffee table and grabs the remote.
I smirk. "How was the date last night?"
"I canceled it." He replies, not an emotion visible on his face.
"What?"
He glances at me and rolls his eyes. "I'm joking. It went okay."
"Just okay?" I scoff.
"Mhm." He mumbles as he stops flipping through channels. I bet he gives up too.
I grab the nearby throw pillow and hit him with it. "Stop acting so tough. I know you like her."
"What do you want me to say?" He groans. "I'm not a girl. I won't explain it the way you girls do."
I roll my eyes at him as I cross my arms. "You're such a kid."
He groans again, louder this time, as he finally turns to me. "Want me to tell you what happened? It was perfect, okay, until she told me that she has a boyfriend. Still want me to go on?"
"Aww, Mikey." I coo as I move closer to him, opening my arms. "It's okay."
He hisses. "I'm not going to hug you."
I smack his head and say, "Come here, you shit head."
Sighing, he lets me hug him. I wrap my arms around him as he rests his head on my shoulder. Michael's so cuddly today since he's wearing his black and white stripes sweater. It's actually my favorite top of Michael. He looks cute and yes, cuddly. He slowly wraps his arms around me, pulling me closer to him.
"It actually hurts you know," He mumbles on my skin. It actually tickles. "When she said that she has a boyfriend. I don't even know why she agreed to go on a date with me in the first place."
I sigh as I rub his back. "I think Mia didn't know."
He pulls away from the hug. "No, I don't think so. I think that she's really single and she doesn't like me and she just don't know a way to dump me without hurting my feelings.
