Saturday approached very fast that I almost forgot to buy myself a dress last night. I started to love parties, but I'm still not into shopping that much that most of the time when there's a party I'm invited in, I still need to buy a new one.

Since Sam is one of the hosts of this party, she can't go to my house to tell me if I finally look okay so I just have to decide for myself. Sam will always drop by to my house before we'll go to a party then she'll tell me if my make-up is too much or if my hair sucks. She's a really good friend. I know that there are girls who are hating on her right now because of how much she have changed when she and Calum started dating but the Sam I met on my first week in school is still deep inside her.

After wearing my pumps, I stand in front of my full body mirror in my room to check my whole outfit. I go for my usual make-up when I'm going to a party and I decide to curl my hair and let it simply lay on my back. The dress I bought last night isn't that extraordinary so I'll just skip it.

I'm about to put my phone in my purse when it starts ringing. It's Michael.

"Hey." I greet as I answer it.

"Hey," He greets back and I can hear the sound of an engine starting in the background. "Are you done?"

"You mean for the party? Yes. Why?"

"Do you want me to pick you up? I'm on my way and I can drop by to your house."

I lick my lips as I leave my room. "Sounds great."

"Cool. Be there in five."

"Caroline." I close my door before turning around to see my brother. He looks at me up and down then nods. "You look beautiful."

I smile. "Thank you."

"You are really grown up now." He says, putting his hands in his pocket.

I playfully roll my eyes as I slap his arm. "Oh shut up. You're just three years older than me."

"Which makes me still older than you." He replies, stepping closer, his face turning into a serious one. I can sense a brotherly speech. "I just want you to take care, okay? Like all the time. You're not eighteen yet though you're already a lady. I know you know what you want now but always remember that you should always keep an eye not just on the people around you but also to yourself. I don't want you to get hurt physically and emotionally."

Of course. Having my brother back home for two weeks, I know that there will be a moment where he will do this. He loves me so much and no one knows me better than him. He used to be so protective over me when I was still on middle school and when I was a freshman on high school. I'm glad he finally accepted that I can now handle myself.

He pulls me into a hug and I whisper, "I'll keep that in mind. I love you."

"I love you too," He says as we pull away from the hug. "Be here at ten."

I glare at him. "What?"

"I'm joking." He chuckles. "Now go."

"I'm still upset that Calum didn't tell me about Ashton coming over to his house." Michael complains.

I chuckle as I roll my eyes at him. "Drop it off, Mikey. He still told you."

He glances at me and smiles. "I'm kidding."

I scoff. "People like joking around me."

"You really look good on that dress," He says, completely out of topic. "Red looks good on you."

"Oh, shut up." I playfully roll my eyes as I look out the window. "Last day you told me green looks good on me."

"Well, everything just looks good on you." He pulls over at the front of Calum's house. I'm still having the difficulty to just call this a house because of how big it is. Cars are already parked everywhere which mean there are already lots of people inside. There are some who are just arriving too. I bet Sam invited shit loads of people since this is the first time that she'll be throwing a huge party.
