"We should all have some nice dinner together." Sam suggests over the phone and I have to roll my eyes because I don't actually think that that's a good idea. First, it's Sunday and I usually like spending my Sunday night by being lazy and just staying on my bed until I decide to go to sleep. Last, by 'we' she means her, me and 5 Seconds of Summer.
Yes, I like Luke Hemmings now and also the rest of the band. I mean, they aren't that bad and I know it from the start, but I'm just being stubborn by pretending that I hate them. Don't get me wrong, there are still times that they annoy the shit out of me, but I guess it's normal with all friendships, right? Maybe time will come when I can finally fully accept that I'm really stuck with them now.
"Yeah, sounds great." Calum agrees. We're actually doing a group call right now. I don't even know why I am in a group call with them. I mean, sure it's Sam's idea, but we're talking for almost half an hour now about completely nothing and I can't believe I'm still not hanging up.
"There will be nothing special about it anyway." I say. "We will just end up in Nando's."
"Hey, hey, hey." Ashton says. "Nando's great and it's not about where you are. It's about who you are with."
I roll my eyes, chuckling. "Whatever, Mr. Irwin."
"So, are we meeting tonight?" Michael asks.
"Are we? Depends to Caroline." Luke says and I can tell that he's smiling.
I sigh in defeat. "Fine, what time?"
Sam giggles. "Seven pm, sharp. At Nando's."
I scoff. "I know it."

When I arrive at Nando's, all of them are already there. Well, there's also one person I didn't expect to come and that's Mia. I really don't know if she and Ashton are already dating or they're just special friends or something but with the way they act, I bet they're now dating. I'm also a bit late because I accidentally drifted off to sleep for too long. I was only planning to take a nap, but then I woke up four hours later.
"Who will order at the counter?" Ashton asks, putting his arm around Mia. I feel a bit jealous as I watch them. Damn, I don't know that I still like Ashton. Like, I think that my little crush on him faded away as time goes by but with the jealousy I feel right now, it's still there.
"Definitely not me." Michael replies, shrugging. Of course, he's a lazy ass.
"I will." Luke volunteers, putting his phone in his pocket. "Come with me if you don't mind."
I roll my eyes at him. "I do mind, Luke."
"Come on." He groans, finally standing up.
I chuckle. "I'm just joking."
So we walk towards the counter. He actually goes there first because he didn't bother to wait for me. Well, I guess that's just Luke Hemmings for you. Looks like a gentleman but not. Well, he is at some times but there are still moments where he just doesn't care about you.
"Good evening." The lady in the counter greets us as I reach the counter.
"Two whole chickens w-"
"Good evening." I greet back with a smile, obviously interrupting Luke.
Luke turns his head to me and raises his eyebrow. "Don't do that."
The lady in the counter chuckles and says, "You're cute."
My head turns to her and I catch her smiling as she stares at Luke. She notices I'm looking when I clear my throat louder in purpose. She immediately turns away and says, "I mean, you two look cute together."
