I slowly pull away from the hug though we're still inches away from each other. I can still smell his scent - his strong perfume together with a smell of coffee. No, I'm not saying he smells like coffee in a cliché way. I mean it literally.

"Did you spill coffee in your shirt, Luke?" I murmur, sniffing him again.

"I was trying to make a coffee in your kitchen," He explains. "Then you started yelling so I was kinda surprised that I spilled the coffee in my shirt. It was really hot, Care. You don't do that again."

I try to stop myself from laughing since Sam is still on my couch, crying so hard. This is one of the moments that you can't laugh yourself off. You just can't.

"You're such an idiot."

Then the doorbell rings for the fourth time today. Luke opens the door, revealing Ashton who has a worried expression in his face. I smile to him as his eyes glance at me. He smiles back before sitting beside Sam who's still a crying mess.

"Hey, hey," Ashton whispers, trying to see Sam's face. "Shh, it's alright. Stop crying."

It takes Ashton two whole minutes to finally make Sam stop crying. Michael is rubbing Sam's back while Ashton is still holding her hands. I never thought that they have a hidden soft spot for crying girls. I always think they're even the ones who will make a girl cry. Maybe it's just Luke. Maybe I judge them all based on Luke.

I can't help but to chuckle because of my dumb thoughts about Luke.

"What?" Luke asks.

I pull a straight face and shake my head. "Nothing."

"You know you have to tell Calum, right?" Ashton asks her.

Sam nods. "But I can't do it. I c-can't stand to see him leaving that door, leaving me."

"He will not," Michael assures. "Calum's a good guy. He can take this."

"Luke," Ashton calls. I swear Luke almost jump in his place. Sometimes he can be so jumpy and always startled. "Call Calum. Tell him to come here immediately."

Luke nods and takes out his phone once again.

"Hey, Calum," I hear him say besides me. "Yeah, it's Luke, obviously. Are you not looking at the caller i.d, idiot? We've been best friends for years and you still don't know the sound of my voice over the pho-"

"Luke, seriously?" I groan, looking at him.

He sighs. "Fine. All of us are here at Care's house. Come over quickly."

He hangs up the phone and stares back at me. He simply shrugs his shoulders as I roll my eyes.

"I can't believe you're my boyfriend." I mumble.

"You don't mean that." He says.

The waiting for Calum is actually silent but intense. You can feel the tension in the air and even if the boys are sure that Calum can handle this, you can still feel that they're not hundred percent sure about it.

Sam stopped crying now, but I bet she will start crying again once she and Calum are finally talking about this. I have my fingers crossed that Calum will handle this nicely and correctly.

"Can you go with me in the kitchen?" Luke whispers. I simply nod then he takes my hand, taking me with him inside the kitchen. We sit on the stools in the kitchen island. He grabs an apple from the basket and takes a huge bite from it.

"What?" I ask him.

He shrugs as he chews. "The tension's killing me. It's awkward."

"I can still feel the tension in here." I chuckle.
