A few weeks passed. Kyoko was assigned leader of the 14th Division and Byakuya as vice leader. The other students worked under them, yourself included. You had already gone through a few missions, mostly consisting of rescuing survivors from designated cities. Otherwise, you stood beside Byakuya as he gave orders.

One evening, Byakuya and Kyoko were meeting in the run down cafe of the hotel you inhabited. The other students and agents had gone to bed or on a mission, leaving the building relatively quiet.

"I'll lead a squadron in, and we'll scout the area." You heard Byakuya's voice as you descended the stairs.

"That'll be fine, although I doubt the reliability of this intelligence. It was from an anonymous source, after all." Kyoko replied. You entered the lobby adjoined to the cafe.

"I still think it's worth a try. Our agents can handle a trap, if there is one."

You entered the room.

"Good evening." Kyoko greeted you. Byakuya was silent.

"Good evening." You pulled up a chair at the table.

"We were thinking of sending a group of agents to Towa City, where intelligence claims there is captives held." Byakuya explained what he and Kyoko were discussing. "These captives are vital. They're supposedly the loved ones or relatives of the Remnants of Hope."

"And you're thinking of going?" You asked.

He nodded. "Ideally, just you and I. I don't want too many important members in danger if its a trap."

"Right. Do we know where specifically?"

"An apartment building; we've been given coordinates."

"Is the sender of this information completely anonymous?"

"It seems that way. We're leaving tomorrow, most likely. Make sure you get some sleep."

" Okay. I'll see you in the morning." You nodded to him.

He smiled in return. "Have a good night."

You had woken up earlier than you would have liked the next morning and groggily boarded a helicopter. While Byakuya spoke to several agents and prepped a few helicopters, you sprawled across the seats in the aircraft and took a nap. When you woke up, your head was in Byakuya's lap, his hand gently stroking your hair. The helicopter had already taken off.

"Byakuya!" You sat up.

"What? Nobody's watching."

He was right. The cabin was empty. The pilots were separated by a glass wall and were too focused on their job.

"How close are we?"

"Almost there. We're going to land at a building across from the specified apartment."

"Do we know exactly who we're rescuing?"

"No, but we'll recognize them."

You glanced out the window. The aircraft was hovering over the city. "Doesn't look like it's been struck by The Tragedy yet." You commented.

"Good. Makes it easier for us. Perhaps we can build defenses before it's too late."

The helicopter lowered and landed. You exited and followed Byakuya. He went to another stationary helicopter and received two megaphone-looking devices.

"And those are...?" You were perplexed.

"Hacking guns. Developed by our scientists to defeat Monokuma robots. Take one." He tossed a machine to you.
