You and the other students were gathered around the box, examining the multiple tapes that lay inside. You spotted the one labeled with your full name and took it. Everyone grabbed their respective tape and hurried to a computer.

Monokuma had announced the motive he created and directed the students to the AV room. You decided to check it out, wondering how the bear could convince you to murder.

You inserted the tape into the computer and pulled on the headphones. After waiting for the screen to process the footage, you watched the message intently.

"After her parents were murdered,  she and her siblings were picked up by a yakuza clan that raised her like one of their own. " Monokuma's voice rang through the headphones. Various photos of your parents' corpses and members of the yakuza clan flashed onscreen,  including your siblings.

"Even when she left the clan,  she always held the people that raised her close to her heart." The voice faked sympathy.

The screen blurred for a moment then flashed to a grotesque image. You recognized the setting of the image as the bar that your clan would inhabit: the main headquarters, of sorts. The entire room was drenched in blood, with a large number of corpses strewn around.  Bodies were sprawled across pool tables and pinned to the wall with various sharp weapons. You recognized some of the bodies as former members and alumni. Your siblings were not present in the picture.

"But suddenly, the entire clan was wiped out! Her siblings vanished without a trace. How on earth did this happen?"

  Find out when you graduate!

Those words were the last thing the screen displayed.

You sighed, removing the headphones. How is that supposed to be a motive? Sure,  it was pretty shocking to see the entire clan wiped out, but they weren't that important to you. You almost detested them.

  "Monokuma,  what-"

You were cut off by the piercing noise of Sayaka screaming, then you watched as she ran out of the room, Makoto following.

Nearly everyone was stressing about whatever they just witnessed. You watched awkwardly as the students broke out into chaos,  swearing at the bear and crying to be free. The quiet students remained quiet,  but even they looked a little disturbed.

The heck did they see? It wasn't that bad... You hesitated,  analyzing the situation. To be fair,  these students probably aren't used to blood.  They're probably very uneasy because of it. You left the room, avoiding the blue-haired crying mess on your way out.

Several hours later, you met with Monokuma in the gym.

"How is that supposed to be a motive?" You confronted him.

"Well, you love your siblings,  don't you?" He snickered.

  "Um..."

"Are you concerned about where they disappeared to?" He held a paw to his forehead.

"No..." Is that the point? To show a loved one disappearing?

"How could you live with yourself,  knowing that your precious siblings have gone missing?" He flung his arms around dramatically.

"Jokes on you, I hate them. I couldn't care if they fell off the face of the earth." You crossed your arms.

Monokuma fumbled for a moment,  frustrated. "Look, when I was making this game,  you were one of, if not the most difficult, students to plan for. You've got no close family,  no friends, there's nobody in your life...except him."
