It took much effort from various agents to keep Kyosuke from nearly throwing Makoto into the ocean. After disembarking the ship, you met face to face with the Vice Chairman and several other agents. Naturally, anger ensued. The only thing that defused the situation was the arrival of Chisa, who spoke to Kyosuke calmly. Even though he was relaxed, he still didn't let up on Makoto.

"What on Earth did you do?! Why would you do something so dangerous?! Do you know how many lives you've risked?! How many..." The string of yells continued, becoming white noise. Makoto awkwardly tried to explain between the shouts, but didn't get any point across.

You watched the ordeal, standing near Byakuya. "Well, a Welcome Home party would've been preferred..." You sighed. Byakuya didn't say anything. He seemed to be thinking, analyzing.

"The whole point of Future Foundation is to save the world! Not to bring back the idiots that started the chaotic hell!" Kyosuke fumed.

  "Kyosuke..." Chisa mumbled.

Kyosuke backed off. "Tell us why. Why did you do that?" He glared daggers at Makoto.

  "Well, I-"

"He doesn't have to tell you right now, Vice Chairman." Byakuya interrupted, stepping forward.

  "Excuse me?" Kyosuke seethed.

"I'd think it would be better if we waited until the full trial--which I'm sure we'll definitely have-- to let Makoto explain. There's no point in telling it now." Byakuya approached Kyosuke. Kyosuke was only slightly taller than Byakuya, but still seemed like a giant.

"Damn the trial. I want an answer." Kyosuke said quietly, but harshly.

"No. We're going to wait, and do this the proper way, like adults. Alright?" Byakuya spoke at the same volume.

Kyosuke swiftly grabbed Byakuya by the collar, lifting him up slightly. "To hell with you! I want an answer!" He was enraged. That prompted you to move.

You stepped up to Kyosuke, trying to create space between him and your boyfriend. "Knock it off." You said gently.

He dropped Byakuya, turning to you. "Do you know your place?"

"I sure do. Quit it with your attitude." You said sternly.

He raised a fist, which Chisa moved to stop. She clutched his arm, shaking her head. He looked at her for a moment before giving up. He glanced at you, then scanned the other people present. He sighed. "I'm leaving." He left those words as he walked away, solemn.

"Thank you." Byakuya spoke to you as he straightened his blazer.

"Of course." You nodded, your eyes following Kyosuke. Chisa watched him go, then turned to your group.

"I'm sorry about that. He's getting stressed. I'll call Chairman Tengan and ask about a date for...the trial." She grew depressed with the last words.

Kyoko moved silently to her. "We understand. We're willing to attend. Please don't feel bad for us; it'll be fine." She comforted the housekeeper.

Chisa nodded, smiling. "Then, I'll be seeing you later. Go home and rest." She left, running to catch up with Kyosuke.

You all were silent. "Well...that was intense." Aoi said at last.

"Indeed. However, Chisa's right; let's go...well, to whatever we know as home." Kyoko replied.

A helicopter transported you back to the hotel. The group split up; Makoto and Kyoko went to talk, Aoi and Yasuhiro went to their own rooms. You joined Byakuya in his room, sitting on his bed together.
